這能怎麼樣呢？反正用各樣方法罷，或用掩飾、或用真誠、基督究竟是被傳揚了。在這事上我倒歡喜，並且還要歡喜。

这有何妨呢？或是假意，或是真心，无论怎样，基督究竟被传开了。为此，我就欢喜，并且还要欢喜；

雖然、是亦何傷？無論其心意之誠也偽也、其揄揚基督則一；此吾之所為歡欣鼓舞、而不能自已者也。

耶穌對他說：『別禁止了，因為不敵你們的、就是助你們。』

約翰對耶穌說：『老師，我們看見一個人奉你的名趕鬼，我們就禁止他，因為他不是跟從我們的。』耶穌說：『別禁止他了；因為沒有奉我的名去行異能、而能輕易誹謗我的。因為不敵我們的、就是助我們。

所以不拘是我、是他們，我們呢、是這樣宣傳，你們呢、也這樣相信。

並且在主裏面的弟兄、大多數也因我的受捆鎖、就都深信不疑，越發大膽無懼講論上帝之道。有的人宣傳基督、竟是為了嫉妒和紛爭；有的人呢、倒是為了善意。後一種人是出於愛心，知道我是為了辯護福音而受派的。前一種人之傳揚基督呢、卻是出於營私爭勝的心，不清清潔潔地傳，只想要在我的鎖鍊中另外引起困苦罷了。

那麼卻怎麼樣呢？我要用靈禱告，也要用心思禱告。我要用靈歌頌，也要用心思歌頌。

『經學士和法利賽人、假冒為善的人哪，你們有禍啊！因為你們當人面前把天國關起來；你們自己不進入，又不容那正進入的人進入。

他們不明白這話：這話對於他們是被掩蔽着、以致他們不能審察出來；他們也怕將這話問他。

這卻怎麼樣呢？我們猶太人比他們外國人強麼？完全不是。我們已經起訴：萬人都在罪之下，不但希利尼人，猶太人也在內；

他們吞喫了寡婦的家產，還作長禱告來掩飾：這種人必受更嚴重的處刑。』

這卻怎麼樣呢？因不在律法之下、而在恩典之下、我們便可以犯罪麼？斷乎不可。

那我是說甚麼呢？是說祭偶像之物算得了甚麼呢？還是說偶像算得了甚麼呢？
