然則何如乎、無論或偽或誠、基督是宣、我則樂之、且終樂之、

然則余將若何、凡事不論真偽、有傳基督道者、我樂之、亦終樂之、

然此亦何妨、其意或偽或誠、無論如何、基督究以是而傳矣、我為之而樂、亦必終樂、

雖然、是亦何傷？無論其心意之誠也偽也、其揄揚基督則一；此吾之所為歡欣鼓舞、而不能自已者也。

And most of the brothers, having become confident in the Lord by my imprisonment, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.Some indeed preach Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from good will.The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.The former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely but thinking to afflict me in my imprisonment.

What am I to do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will pray with my mind also; I will sing praise with my spirit, but I will sing with my mind also.
