The Amalekites live in the Negev Desert. The Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the central hill country. The Canaanites live near the Mediterranean Sea. They also live along the Jordan River.”

The Amalekites dwell in the land of the Negeb. The Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the hill country. And the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and along the Jordan.”

The Amalekites live in the Negev, and the Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the hill country. The Canaanites live along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and along the Jordan Valley.”

The Amalekites are living in the land of the Negev; the Hethites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live by the sea and along the Jordan.”

你现在要去攻打他们，彻底消灭他们和他们拥有的一切，把男女老幼、牛羊骆驼和驴全部杀掉，一个不留。’”于是，扫罗在提拉因召集了二十万步兵，另有从犹大来的一万人。扫罗来到亚玛力的城池，在山谷里埋伏起来。他对基尼人说：“你们离开亚玛力人吧，免得我把你们也一起消灭，因为在以色列人离开埃及的时候，你们曾善待他们。”于是，基尼人离开了亚玛力人。扫罗攻打亚玛力人，从哈腓拉直打到埃及东面的书珥，生擒了亚玛力王亚甲，杀尽了亚玛力人。扫罗和他的士兵却留下了亚甲和那些上好的牛羊、肥壮的牛犊和羊羔及一切美物，只毁灭了那些瘦弱无用的牲畜。

祂应许要带领你们脱离在埃及所受的苦难，到迦南人、赫人、亚摩利人、比利洗人，希未人和耶布斯人住的地方，那里是奶蜜之乡。’

住在山区的亚玛力人和迦南人下来击溃了他们，一路追杀他们到何珥玛。

巴兰观看亚玛力人，并以诗歌预言说：“亚玛力原是列国之首，但他的结局却是灭亡。”

然后，他们返回安·密巴，即加低斯，征服了亚玛力全境以及住在哈洗逊·他玛的亚摩利人。

后来，亚玛力人到利非订攻打以色列人。摩西对约书亚说：“选一些人出去迎战亚玛力人。明天，我会带着上帝的杖站在山顶上。”约书亚便遵照摩西的吩咐迎战亚玛力人，摩西、亚伦和户珥站在山顶上。摩西什么时候举手，以色列人就得胜；他的手什么时候垂下来，亚玛力人就占上风。不久，摩西的手疲倦发软，亚伦和户珥就抬来一块石头让摩西坐下，然后站在他的两边扶着他的手，他就稳稳地举着手，直到日落。这样，约书亚用刀杀败了亚玛力人。耶和华对摩西说：“我要抹去世人对亚玛力人的记忆。你要把这话记在书卷上作纪念，也要把这话告诉约书亚。”摩西在那里筑了一座坛，称之为耶和华尼西。摩西说：“耶和华已经起誓要世代与亚玛力人为敌。”

每当他们撒种的时候，米甸人、亚玛力人及东方人就前来进犯，

由于亚玛力人和迦南人住在山谷中，明天你们要转回，沿红海的路前往旷野。”

过了两天，大卫率领部下回到洗革拉的时候，发现亚玛力人袭击了南地和洗革拉，攻破了洗革拉城，把全城烧毁，
