对于这些事，我们还可以说什么呢？上帝若帮助我们，谁能与我们对抗？

我们依靠上帝才能取胜，祂必把我们的敌人踩在脚下。

靠着赐我力量的那位，我凡事都能做。

那时，犹大支派的人来到吉甲见约书亚，其中有基尼洗族耶孚尼的儿子迦勒。他对约书亚说：“你知道耶和华在加低斯·巴尼亚跟上帝的仆人摩西提到关于你和我的事。我四十岁那年，耶和华的仆人摩西从加低斯·巴尼亚派我来侦察这地方，我如实禀告他。与我同去的弟兄的禀告令以色列人胆战心惊，但我忠心地追随我的上帝耶和华。

我是你的上帝，我必与你同在，你不用惊慌也不用害怕。我必赐你力量，帮助你，用我公义的右手扶持你。’“看啊，向你发怒的人必抱愧蒙羞；与你为敌的人都要灭亡，归于无有。你寻找与你相争的人，却找不到；与你争战的人必归于无有。因为我是你的上帝耶和华，我必拉着你的右手对你说，‘不要怕，我必帮助你。’“如蛆如虫的雅各啊，以色列人啊，不要怕！我耶和华必帮助你。以色列的圣者是你的救赎主。看啊，我要使你成为一具簇新、带许多利齿的打谷器。你要打烂高山，使丘陵碎如糠秕。你要簸它们，让风吹散它们，让狂风卷走它们。但你要以耶和华为喜乐，以以色列的圣者为荣耀。

然而，靠着爱我们的主，我们在这一切事上已经得胜有余了。

他们凭信心战胜了敌国，行了公义，得到了应许，堵住了狮子的口，

耶和华是我的光，我的拯救，我还怕谁？耶和华是我的堡垒，我还怕谁？当恶人来吞吃我，仇敌来攻击我时，必失足跌倒。
