And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,

Also Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people[ stood] in their place.So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused[ them] to understand the reading.

And the whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days: and they kept[ other] seven days with gladness.

And the people saw them departing, and many knew him, and ran afoot thither out of all cities, and outwent them, and came together unto him.And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.

And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all[ men], apt to teach, patient,In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof[ is] brutish.

And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.
