我没有使义人忧伤，你们却以谎言叫他们灰心。你们怂恿恶人不要改邪归正，以致他们丧命。

我听见假先知奉我的名说，‘上帝托梦给我了！上帝托梦给我了！’

耶利米先知就对哈拿尼雅先知说：“哈拿尼雅，听着！耶和华并没有派你来，你却诱使这些民众相信你的谎话。

以及肉桂、豆蔻、香料、香膏、乳香、酒、油、细面粉、小麦、牛、羊、马、车、仆婢和人口都没有人购买了。

务要牧养上帝托付给你们的羊群，按着上帝的旨意甘心乐意地照顾他们，不是出于勉强，不是为了谋利，而是出于热诚。

难道你们不是见了虚假的异象，说了虚谎的预言吗？你们说这是耶和华说的，其实我并没有说。’”

属灵的人能够参透万事，但没有人能参透他。

万军之耶和华对祂的子民说：“你们不要听信这些先知的预言，他们使你们充满虚假的盼望，他们的预言是自己编的，不是耶和华说的。

城里的首领为贪赃而枉法，祭司为银子而施教，先知为钱财而占卜。他们却宣称倚靠耶和华，说：“耶和华不是在我们当中吗？灾祸不会临到我们。”

这些人就像贪吃的狗，不知饱足，又像什么都不懂的牧人，人人各行其是，追求自己的利益。

耶和华对我说：“那些先知奉我的名说假预言，我并没有差派他们，没有委任他们，也没有对他们说话。他们对你们说的预言是假异象，是占卜，是凭空捏造。

不酗酒、不好斗、要温和、不争吵、不贪财，

圣灵使这人能行神迹，使那人能做先知讲道；使这人能辨别诸灵，使那人能说方言，又使另一人能翻译方言。

身为上帝的管家，做监督的必须无可指责，不傲慢，不暴躁，不酗酒，不好斗，不贪财。

你们为了几把大麦和几块饼，在我的子民中亵渎我，向那些肯听谎言的说谎，杀死那些不该死的，救活那些不该活的。’

我从未贪图别人的金银和衣服，

他们贪婪成性，想用花言巧语在你们身上谋利。这种人的刑罚自古已经判定，他们很快就会灭亡。
