『我的人民中有貧困的人在你附近；你若把銀錢借給他，不可像放債的對待他，不可在那上頭加利息。

你不可向他取利息，也不可向他要物品利息；只要敬畏你的上帝，讓你的族弟兄在你那裏生活。

『你借給你的族弟兄、都不可取利息：無論是銀錢利息、是糧食利息、或是任何東西的利息借出而生利的。借給外族人、你倒可以取利息；但借給你的族弟兄呢、你就不可取利息；好使永恆主你的上帝、在你所要進去取得為業的地、在你下手辦的一切事上、賜福與你。

『審判案件時、你不可行不公道的事；不可徇窮困人的情面，也不可看重大人物的情面；只要按公義審判你的同伴。

豁免的辦法乃是這樣：凡債主都要把所借給鄰舍的鬆手豁免掉，不可向鄰舍和族弟兄追討，因為所宣告的是永恆主的豁免。向外族人、你倒可以追討；但向你的族弟兄呢、無論你借給他甚麼，你總要鬆手豁免。

對審判官說：『你們所作的、你們要看清楚；因為你們判斷、不是為了人，乃是為了永恆主；你們說判斷話時候、永恆主是和你們同在的。現在你們對永恆主要有畏懼的心；你們要謹慎辦事；因為永恆主我們的上帝無不公道；他不以貌取人，也不受賄賂。』

他不將銀錢放債取利，也不受賄賂以害無辜。行這些事的人必永不動搖。

『你借給你的鄰舍、不拘所借出的是甚麼，你總不可進他家去拿取他的抵押品。你要站在外面，讓那向你借的人把抵押品拿出來給你。他若是個貧困的人，你不可留他的抵押品而去睡覺。日落的時候、你總要把抵押品還給他，讓他蓋着自己的外衣睡覺，他就給你祝福；這在永恆主你的上帝面前就算為你的仁義了。

在你裏面有為了流人血而受賄賂的；利息和物資利你拿取了；你還用欺壓手段向你鄰舍貪圖不義之財；至於我呢、你卻忘記了：主永恆主發神諭說。

你說：『你們要求見我的面』，那時我心裏向你說：『永恆主啊，你的面我正在求見呢。』

你們儘管激動戰抖，可別犯罪；在床上時、要心中說話，靜默無聲。（細拉）

顯露的勸責好過隱藏的愛。

這些事你要講論，要勸勉；要用充分的職權來指責；別讓人輕視你了。

一味犯罪的、你要在眾人面前指責他們，讓其餘的人也有所畏懼。

但那裏有永恆主的一個神言人名叫俄德、出來迎接那到撒瑪利亞來的軍隊，對他們說：『只因永恆主你們列祖的上帝惱怒了猶大人，他才將他們交在你們手裏，你們竟怒氣沖天，殺戮了他們。如今你們又心裏說要強迫猶大人和耶路撒冷人做你們的奴隸和婢女。這不是連你們也實實在在有得罪永恆主你們的上帝的罪麼？現在你們要聽我的話：要將你們從族弟兄中所擄來的俘虜釋放回去，因為永恆主已向你們大發烈怒了。』於是以法蓮人之中幾個為首的人、約哈難的兒子亞撒利雅、米實利未的兒子比利家、沙龍的兒子耶希西家、哈得萊的兒子亞瑪撒、起來攔阻那從戰陣中回來的人，對他們說：『你們不要將俘虜帶進這裏來，因為我們已得罪了永恆主了，你們心裏還說要增加我們的罪和過犯。我們的罪過實在夠大了；已經有永恆主的烈怒臨到以色列人了。』

上帝站立在神的會中，在諸神中行審判，說：『你們不按公義而審判，只徇惡人的情面，要到幾時呢？（細拉）你們要為受欺壓的人和孤兒伸冤；要向困苦窮乏人顯義氣。要解救貧寒窮困人，援救他們脫離惡人的手。』

但磯法到了安提阿的時候，我就當面反對他，因為他有可責備之處。

所以我們從今以後不再按人的肉體認識人了；縱使曾按其肉體認識基督，如今卻不再這樣認識他了。

永恆主啊，誰能寄居你的帳棚？誰能住在你的聖山呢？

他若不聽他們，你要告訴教會；倘若連教會他也不聽，你就拿他當外國人和收稅人得啦。

『主永恆主這麼說：以色列的人君哪，你們可夠了！把強暴和搶奪的事除掉哦！施行公平公義吧！將霸佔我人民產業的事拉掉起來哦。這是主永恆主發神諭說的。
