I put Shelemiah the priest, Zadok the scribe, and a Levite named Pedaiah in charge of the storerooms and made Hanan son of Zakkur, the son of Mattaniah, their assistant, because they were considered trustworthy. They were made responsible for distributing the supplies to their fellow Levites.

I put some men in charge of the storerooms. They were Shelemiah, Zadok and Pedaiah. Shelemiah was a priest. Zadok was a teacher of the law. And Pedaiah was a Levite. I made Hanan their assistant. He was the son of Zakkur. Zakkur was the son of Mattaniah. I knew that these men could be trusted. They were put in charge of handing out the supplies to the other Levites.

And I appointed as treasurers over the storehouses Shelemiah the priest, Zadok the scribe, and Pedaiah of the Levites, and as their assistant Hanan the son of Zaccur, son of Mattaniah, for they were considered reliable, and their duty was to distribute to their brothers.

I assigned supervisors for the storerooms: Shelemiah the priest, Zadok the scribe, and Pedaiah, one of the Levites. And I appointed Hanan son of Zaccur and grandson of Mattaniah as their assistant. These men had an excellent reputation, and it was their job to make honest distributions to their fellow Levites.

I appointed as treasurers over the storehouses the priest Shelemiah, the scribe Zadok, and Pedaiah of the Levites, with Hanan son of Zaccur, son of Mattaniah to assist them, because they were considered trustworthy. They were responsible for the distribution to their colleagues.

他們沒有要求經手把銀子轉付工匠的人交代帳目，因為他們辦事誠實。

在最小的事上忠心的，在大事上也忠心；在最小的事上不義的，在大事上也不義。如果你們在不義的錢財上不忠心，誰還把真實的錢財託付給你們呢？如果你們在別人的東西上不忠心，誰還把你們自己的東西交給你們呢？

銀子交在他們手中，不用和他們算帳，因為他們辦事誠實。”

放在使徒腳前，照著各人的需要來分配。

他們也必須先受考驗，若沒有可責之處，然後才讓他們作執事。

我感謝那賜我能力的、我們的主基督耶穌，因為他認為我有忠心，派我服事他。

他們很忠心地把供物、各物品的十分之一和分別為聖之物，都搬進倉裡去。利未人歌楠雅總管這些物品，他的兄弟示每作副總管。耶歇、亞撒細雅、拿哈、亞撒黑、耶利末、約撒拔、以利、伊斯瑪基雅、瑪哈、比拿雅在歌楠雅和他的兄弟示每手下，負責監督的工作，他們都是由希西家王和神殿的總管亞撒利雅委派的。看守東門的利未人音拿的兒子可利，掌管自願獻給神的禮物，分發獻與耶和華的供物和至聖之物。在他手下有伊甸、珉雅珉、耶書亞、示瑪雅、亞瑪利雅和示迦尼雅，在祭司的各城裡，按著班次，無論大小，把供物分發給他們的親族。

在耶路撒冷管理利未人的，是巴尼的兒子烏西，巴尼是哈沙比雅的兒子，哈沙比雅是瑪他尼的兒子，瑪他尼是米迦的兒子，他是亞薩的子孫，就是那些管理神殿事務的歌唱者。

主說：“誰是那忠心精明的管家，被主人指派管理家裡的僕人，按時分糧呢？
