我為爾僕、晨夕祈禱、求爾施恩於眾僕、以色列族願爾垂顧、冀爾俯聞、我與室人、及以色列族多獲罪愆、今於爾前、自言己過、

僕今為主之諸僕以色列人、晝夜所祈禱於主前、又認以色列人及我並我父家於主前所犯之罪、求主以目垂顧、側耳垂聽僕之祈禱、

let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father’s family, have committed against you.

我正说话、祷告，承认我的罪和我百姓以色列的罪，为我神的圣山，在耶和华—我的神面前恳求；

我向耶和华—我的神祈祷、认罪，说：“主啊，你是大而可畏的神，向爱主、守主诫命的人守约施慈爱。

我的神啊，现在求你睁眼看，侧耳听在此处所献的祷告。

耶和华的眼目看顾义人，他的耳朵听他们的呼求。

神的选民昼夜呼吁他，他岂会延迟不给他们伸冤吗？

因我们的祖先犯了罪，行耶和华—我们神眼中看为恶的事，离弃他，转脸背向耶和华的居所。

我们与我们的祖宗一同犯罪，偏邪行恶。

我们的神啊，现在求你垂听你仆人的祈祷恳求，为你自己的缘故使你的脸向荒凉的圣所发光。我的神啊，求你侧耳而听，睁眼而看，眷顾我们那荒凉之地和称为你名下的城。我们在你面前恳求，不是因自己的义，而是因你丰富的怜悯。

那时我说：“祸哉！我灭亡了！因为我是嘴唇不洁的人，住在嘴唇不洁的民中，又因我亲眼看见大君王—万军之耶和华。”

以斯拉祷告，认罪，哭泣，俯伏在神殿前的时候，有以色列中的男女和孩童聚集到以斯拉那里，成了一个盛大的会，百姓无不痛哭。

我们的祖先犯罪，而今他们不在了，我们却担当他们的罪孽。

我们从前也都生活在他们当中，放纵肉体的私欲，随着肉体和心中的意念去做，和别人一样，生来就是该受惩罚的人。

耶和华—拯救我的神啊，我昼夜在你面前呼求；

晚上、早晨、中午我要哀声悲叹，他就垂听我的声音。

主啊，求你听我的声音！求你侧耳听我恳求的声音！

人都有自己的罪，活人有什么好发怨言的呢？让我们省察，检讨自己的行为，归向耶和华吧！让我们献上我们的心，向天上的神举手！我们犯罪悖逆，你并未赦免。

“我立扫罗为王，我感到遗憾，因为他转去不跟从我，不遵守我的命令。”撒母耳就很生气，终夜哀求耶和华。

我向你陈明我的罪，不隐瞒我的恶。我说：“我要向耶和华承认我的过犯”；你就赦免我的罪恶。（细拉）

我们都如不洁净的人，所行的义都像污秽的衣服。我们如叶子渐渐枯干，罪孽像风把我们吹走。无人求告你的名，无人奋力抓住你。你转脸不顾我们，你使我们因罪孽而融化。

就寡居了，现在已经八十四岁。她不离开圣殿，禁食祈求，昼夜事奉神。

我感谢神，就是我接续祖先用纯洁的良心所事奉的神，在祈祷中昼夜不停地想念你。

如今你们又有意强逼犹大人和耶路撒冷人作你们的奴婢，你们岂不是也得罪了耶和华—你们的神吗？

惟求耶和华—我的神垂顾仆人的祷告祈求，俯听仆人今日在你面前的祈祷呼求。愿你的眼目昼夜看顾这殿，就是你说要作为你名的居所；求你垂听祷告，你仆人向此处的祷告。

说：“我的神啊，我抱愧蒙羞，不敢向你—我的神仰面，因为我们的罪孽多到灭顶，我们的罪恶滔天。从我们祖先的日子直到今日，我们的罪恶深重；因我们的罪孽，我们和君王、祭司都交在邻国诸王的手中，被杀害，掳掠，抢夺，脸上蒙羞，正如今日的景况。

独居无靠的真寡妇只仰赖神，昼夜不住地祈求祷告。

现在当向耶和华—你们列祖的神认罪，遵行他的旨意，离开这地的百姓和外邦女子。”
