Then Jesus said to them,“ Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.” And they were amazed at him.

Jesus said to them,“ Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they marveled at him.

“ Well, then,” Jesus said,“ give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.” His reply completely amazed them.

And Jesus said to them,“ Pay to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they were utterly amazed at Him.

And Jesus said unto them, Render unto Cæsar the things that are Cæsar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s. And they marvelled greatly at him.

Then Jesus told them,“ Give back to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they were amazed at Him.

你們向一切人、總要把債還清；該向誰納貢銀，就向誰納貢銀；該向誰上稅，就向誰上稅；該敬畏誰；就敬畏誰；該尊敬誰，就尊敬誰。

也不可將你們的肢體獻給罪、做不義的工具。卻要將自己獻給上帝，像從死人中起來而活着，將你們的肢體獻給上帝、做義的工具；

彼得說：『納呀。』他進了屋子，耶穌卻先問他說：『西門，你以為怎樣？地上的君王從誰收稅銀或丁稅呢？從自己的子民呢？還是從外人呀？』他一說『從外人』，耶穌就對他說：『那麼，子民便是免稅的了。但是為要避免觸犯着他們，你要往海裏去，投個釣鈎，把先上來的魚拿起來；開了牠的口，你就會看見一個「四日工錢」幣；取了那個，替我和你給予他們。』

弟子啊，要將你的心給予我；你的眼要喜悅我的道路。

你向上帝許了願，償還不可遲延；因為他不喜悅愚頑人；所以你許的願、你總要還。許願不還，不如不許。

所以弟兄們，我憑着上帝的憐憫勸你們、將你們的身體獻上做祭物，是活的，是聖別的，是上帝所喜歡的，是你們心神的事奉。

羣眾聽見了，就因他的教訓而驚駭。

但若眾人都傳講神言，有個不信的人或外行的進來，他一給眾人所訐發，一給眾人所審斷，他心裏的隱密事就顯露了。這樣，他就要俯伏敬拜上帝，傳揚說上帝真在你們中間了。

『藐視我名的祭司啊，萬軍之永恆主對你們說：兒子孝敬父親，奴僕敬畏主人。我既是做父親，我在哪裏得到孝敬呢？我既是做主人，我在哪裏得到敬畏呢？而你們竟說：「我們在甚麼事上藐視你的名呢？」

但是彼得約翰卻回答他們說：『聽你們、過於聽上帝，這在上帝面前對不對，你們自己判斷吧。我們所看見所聽見的、我們不能不講。』

他破壞狡猾人的計策，使他們的手展不出成功的謀略。他在智慧人自己的狡猾中捉住他們，使邪曲人的計謀迅速地失敗。

基督的愛催迫着我們；我們斷定：一個人既替眾人死了，眾人就都是死了。他替眾人死，是要叫活着的人不再為自己而活，乃要為那替他們死而得甦活起來的活。

豈不知你們的身體就是聖靈的殿堂麼？聖靈是那在你們裏面的、是你們從上帝那裏得來的。你們又不是屬於自己的；因為你們乃是重價買來的；總要在你們的身體上榮耀上帝。

他們聽見都希奇，便離開他走了。

務要尊敬眾人；愛信主的弟兄姊妹；敬畏上帝；尊敬君王。

沒有一個人能回答他一句話。從那一天起，再也沒有人敢詰問他了。

要將你完全的心、你完全的性命、完全的精神、完全的力量、愛主你的上帝。」

弟子啊，你要敬畏永恆主，敬畏君王；不可激怒此二者；
