Therefore, Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor has given birth; then the rest of the ruler’s brothers will return to the people of Israel.

Therefore Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor bears a son, and the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites.

The Lord will hand over his people to their enemies. That will last until the pregnant woman bears her promised son. Then the rest of his relatives in Judah will return to their land.

Therefore he shall give them up until the time when she who is in labor has given birth; then the rest of his brothers shall return to the people of Israel.

The people of Israel will be abandoned to their enemies until the woman in labor gives birth. Then at last his fellow countrymen will return from exile to their own land.

So the LORD will hand the people of Israel over to their enemies until the time when the woman in labor gives birth. Then the rest of the king’s countrymen will return to be reunited with the people of Israel.

I will make the lame into a remnant, those far removed into a strong nation. Then the LORD will reign over them in Mount Zion from this time on and forever.

On that day the remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no longer depend on the one who struck them, but they will faithfully depend on the LORD, the Holy One of Israel.The remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the Mighty God.

A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.She was pregnant and cried out in labor and agony as she was about to give birth.

How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I surrender you, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I treat you like Zeboiim? I have had a change of heart; my compassion is stirred!

Now, why are you shouting loudly? Is there no king with you? Has your counselor perished so that anguish grips you like a woman in labor?Writhe and cry out, Daughter Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you will leave the city and camp in the open fields. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued; there the LORD will redeem you from the grasp of your enemies!

But what was God’s answer to him? I have left seven thousand for myself who have not bowed down to Baal.In the same way, then, there is also at the present time a remnant chosen by grace.Now if by grace, then it is not by works; otherwise grace ceases to be grace.

On that day the Lord will extend his hand a second time to recover the remnant of his people who survive— from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and the coasts and islands of the west.

For this is what the LORD says: Sing with joy for Jacob; shout for the foremost of the nations! Proclaim, praise, and say,“ LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel!”Watch! I am going to bring them from the northern land. I will gather them from remote regions of the earth— the blind and the lame will be with them, along with those who are pregnant and those about to give birth. They will return here as a great assembly!They will come weeping, but I will bring them back with consolation. I will lead them to wadis filled with water, by a smooth way where they will not stumble, for I am Israel’s Father, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

Therefore, I am going to persuade her, lead her to the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.

“ And the King will answer them,‘ Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

they will perish, but you remain. They will all wear out like clothing;you will roll them up like a cloak, and they will be changed like clothing. But you are the same, and your years will never end.

She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

Then the earth will become a wasteland because of its inhabitants and as a result of their actions.

He will give up Israel because of Jeroboam’s sins that he committed and caused Israel to commit.”

“ At that time”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.”

Don’t be like your ancestors and your brothers who were unfaithful to the LORD, the God of their ancestors so that he made them an object of horror as you yourselves see.

But Isaiah cries out concerning Israel, Though the number of Israelites is like the sand of the sea, only the remnant will be saved;since the Lord will execute his sentence completely and decisively on the earth.

Therefore, I will take back my grain in its time and my new wine in its season; I will take away my wool and linen, which were to cover her nakedness.

Before Zion was in labor, she gave birth; before she was in pain, she delivered a boy.Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day or a nation be delivered in an instant? Yet as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her sons.

For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

You will eat but not be satisfied, for there will be hunger within you. What you acquire, you cannot save, and what you do save, I will give to the sword.
