Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At morning’s light they carry it out because it is in their power to do it.

How terrible it will be for those who plan to harm others! How terrible for those who make evil plans before they even get out of bed! As soon as daylight comes, they carry out their plans. That’s because they have the power to do it.

Woe to those who devise wickedness and work evil on their beds! When the morning dawns, they perform it, because it is in the power of their hand.

What sorrow awaits you who lie awake at night, thinking up evil plans. You rise at dawn and hurry to carry them out, simply because you have the power to do so.

言行乖謬、乃無賴之惡徒、以目致意、以足傳情、以指指揮、中心乖戾、恆謀邪惡、播厥爭端、故其災害突至、勿遭摧折、無術補救、耶和華所惡者有六、所憎者有七、即目傲舌謊、手流無辜之血、心圖惡謀、足趨邪慝、發誑言而妄證、於昆弟播爭端、○

慳吝之徒、其術邪惡、其謀詭譎、以誑言滅卑者、害正言之貧人、

有一人焉、自爾而出、向耶和華圖奸惡、謀不軌、

彼眾潛伏、心熱如爐、其烘餅者、竟夕睡臥、至於清晨、厥火炎炎、眾熱如爐、滅其士師、君王傾覆、其中無人籲我、

我本有力、能以害爾、惟前夕爾父之上帝諭我曰、慎之哉、爾於雅各、或善或惡、均勿與言、

子女付於異族、爾將終日瞻望、至於目盲、無力拯之、

當善待者、爾力能為、則勿謝卻、

爾手污於血、爾指染於惡、口出虛詞、舌談邪慝、

斯眾懷邪慝、孕毒害、產虛偽、掘造坎阱、自陷其中、其毒害必歸己首、其強暴必臨己頂、

隱刺、毀謗、憎上帝、狎侮、傲慢、矜誇、造惡、違逆父母、

彼曰、其來、爾我同謀以攻耶利米、因法律不絕於祭司、謀畧不絕於哲人、預言不絕於先知、來哉、我儕以舌攻之、勿聽其言、○

耶穌曰、非自上賜爾、爾則無權於我、故以我付爾者、罪尤大也、

蓋彼未行惡則不眠、未傾人則廢寢、

今請偕同公會、告千夫長、明日曳之至爾前、若將詳究其情者、我儕已備、於其未至時殺之、

行善者、耶和華必錫以恩、謀惡者、必定其罪、

祭司諸長與士子、謀何以殺耶穌、畏民故也、○撒但入於猶大、稱以色加畧者、十二徒之一也、詣祭司諸長及殿司、相議如何以耶穌付之、眾喜、約予之金、猶大諾、乃尋機於眾不在時付之、○

及旦、猶太人結黨誓而自呪曰、不殺保羅、不食不飲、

哈曼奏王曰、有一族、散處爾國諸州、其律異乎萬民、不遵王律、容之於王無益、

耶和華歟、援我於惡人、護我於強暴兮、彼心謀惡、恆搆戰兮、利舌如蛇、脣藏蝮毒兮、耶和華歟、脫我於惡人之手、護我於強暴、彼定厥志、躓我步履兮、維彼驕人、為我置機檻、張絆索、施網道旁、為我設擭兮、○我謂耶和華曰、爾乃我上帝、耶和華歟、傾耳聽我懇求之聲兮、主耶和華、我拯救之力歟、在昔戰鬥之日、爾蔽我首兮、耶和華歟、勿遂惡人之欲、勿成其謀、免其自高兮、

及晨、祭司諸長、長老、士子、全會、共議、遂繫耶穌、曳而付於彼拉多、

神諭我曰、人子歟、圖維邪慝、在邑中設惡謀者、即斯人也、

時、士子與祭司諸長、知此喻指己、欲執之、而懼民、

其妻細利斯與諸友謂之曰、當具木高五丈、明日求王、懸末底改於上、然後欣然與王赴宴、哈曼悅其言、使具木焉、

平旦、祭司諸長、民之長老、謀攻耶穌以死之、繫而曳之、解於方伯彼拉多、○

其事為王所知、王則頒詔、使哈曼謀害猶大人之惡計、歸於其首、父子俱懸於木、
