耶穌謂門徒曰、此夜爾眾將棄我、記有之、我擊牧者、群羊散矣、

若陷信我之小子於罪者、寧以巨磨懸其頸、沉於深海、○禍哉斯世乎、以其陷人於罪也、夫陷人於罪、事所必有、但陷人於罪者、禍哉斯人也、

惟內無根、則亦暫耳、及為道而遇難窘逐、即厭而棄之、

君語僕曰、繫其手足、執而逐於絕域幽暗、彼有哀哭切齒者矣、

耶穌顧彼得曰、撒但、退、爾阻我、以爾不體上帝之情、乃人之情耳、

勿以食故、暴棄上帝所生成、凡物皆潔、而以所食妨人、則不可、毋寧不食肉、不飲酒、不事事、致兄弟或躓或礙、而信不篤、

蓋食物陷兄弟於罪、吾永不食肉以陷之矣、

兄弟乎、若我言人當受割禮、何至今猶窘逐我乎、彼亦不厭十字架之道矣、
