“ God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers.

“ You are blessed when they insult you and persecute you and falsely say every kind of evil against you because of me.

“ Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.

Blessed are ye when men shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

爾曹為我名、將為眾所憾、

時、人將陷陷原文作付爾於患難、且殺爾、爾將為我名見憾於萬民、

且爾為我名必見憾於眾、惟至終忍耐者得救也、

被詬不反詬、受苦不出厲言、惟以己託於公義審判之主、

此事之先、人將執爾、窘逐爾、解爾於會堂、下爾於獄、為我名曳爾至王侯前、

如經所載云、我儕緣主、終日見殺、視如將宰之羊、

凡欲救其生命者、反喪之、為我及福音而喪生命者、必救之、

我儕因基督而愚、爾曹信基督而智、我儕弱、爾曹強、爾曹尊、我儕卑、

爾曹畏主命者、當聽主言、爾兄弟憾爾、緣我名而棄爾、曰、願主彰顯榮光、使我儕得見爾之欣喜、彼如此言、必至蒙羞、曰願主彰顯榮光使我儕得見爾之欣喜彼如此言必至蒙羞或作自言以此歸榮於我我必使爾欣喜使彼愧怍

凡欲救其生命者、反喪之、為我而喪其生命者、反救之、

我儕因信主終日被殺、人視我儕如將宰之羊、

過者譏之、搖首曰、

我生常為耶穌冒死、使耶穌之生、顯於我將死之身、

我將示之、必為我名而受多苦、

眾詈之曰、爾乃其門徒、我儕則摩西之門徒、

且爾將為我之故、被解至侯王前、向斯人與異邦人作證、

蓋施洗約翰至、不食餅、不飲酒、爾則言其患魔、人子至亦食亦飲、爾又言其嗜食好酒、與稅吏及罪人為友、

惟內無根、亦祇暫時、及為道而遇難窘逐、即躓蹶矣、

爾當自慎、蓋人將解爾於公會、撲爾於會堂、且為我故、爾將被解至侯王前、以為之證、
