耶穌謂之曰：『從予、將使爾為生靈漁夫。』

耶穌就對他們說：「來跟從我！我將要使你們成為得人的漁夫。」

謂之曰、從我、我將使爾為漁人者焉、

耶穌曰、從我、我將使爾漁人如漁魚焉、

耶穌謂之曰、從我、我將使爾為漁人之漁者、

“ Come, follow me,” Jesus said,“ and I will send you out to fish for people.”

“ Come and follow me,” Jesus said.“ I will send you out to fish for people.”

And he said to them,“ Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Jesus called out to them,“ Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”

“ Follow me,” he told them,“ and I will make you fish for people.”

And He* said to them,“ Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of people.”

Then He said to them,“ Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

And he saith unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you fishers of men.

“ Follow Me,” He told them,“ and I will make you fish for people!”

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

He said to them,“ Follow me, and I will turn you into fishers of people.”

He said to them,“ Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men.”

耶穌乃謂之曰：『爾其從予、將使爾為生靈之漁夫。』二人立舍其網而從。

人欲事我、宜亦步亦趨、追踵於我、庶幾我之所詣、吾僕亦克詣焉。人能事我、父必榮之。

又謂一人曰：『從予！』其人對曰：『主容吾先行歸葬吾父。』

乃諭諸徒曰：『人欲從予、必須克己、負其十字架、而追隨予後。

耶穌曰：『縱欲留彼於世、以俟予之重來、亦何與於汝？汝惟從予而已！』

又次日、耶穌赴加利利、適遇斐理伯、諭之曰：『從予！』

厥後、耶穌出行、見一稅吏名理味者、坐於稅關、諭之曰：『從予！』

既而他往、見亞爾弗子理味坐稅關、召之曰：『從余。』起而從之。

耶穌他適、途中見一人、坐稅關、名瑪竇、召之曰：『從予。』即起而從之。

耶穌曰：『欲為完人、往售所有、施於貧人、積寶於天、再來從我。』

睹此一網所得之魚、舉不勝驚愕也。耶穌謂西門曰：『毋懼！今而後汝當為生靈之漁父矣。』彼等既曳舟上岸、盡棄所有、以從耶穌。

故於猶太人、吾亦儼然以猶太人自居、所以感化猶太人也。於法內之人、吾亦儼然以法內之人自居、所以感化法內之人也；實則其法無與於我耳。於法外之人、吾亦儼然以法外之人自居、所以感化法外之人也；實則就天主及基督之妙法言之、吾亦法內之人耳。於弱者、吾亦欣然以弱者自居、所以感化弱者也。蓋我甘為一切人之一切所以拯救一切人也。

耶穌曰：『第從我、任死者葬死人也。』

或曰：正惟彼不累爾、彼蓋矯情以取信、將間接貽爾以大累耳。
