耶穌稍往前走，把臉伏在地上禱告說：「我父啊，如果有可能，讓這杯離開我吧！但不要照我的意願，而要照你的意願。」

And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying,“ My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.”

因為我從天上降下來，不是要行自己的意思，而是要行那派我來者的意思。

降卑自己，順從至死，甚至死在十字架上！

耶穌第二次又去禱告說：「我父啊，如果這杯不能離開我，一定要我喝下，那就願你的旨意成就！」

「我憑自己什麼也不能做。我怎麼聽見，就怎麼審判，而且我的審判是公義的，因為我不求自己的意思，而求那派我來者的意思。

基督在他肉身的日子裡，曾經用強烈的呼號和淚水，向能救他脫離死亡的那一位獻上了祈禱和懇求，就因著他的虔誠蒙了垂聽。

然後他抽出身，離他們約有扔一塊石頭的距離，跪下禱告，說：「父啊，如果你願意，請把這杯從我這裡拿走吧！但不要成就我的意思，而要成就你的意思。」

「現在我的靈魂煩擾。我該說什麼呢？說『父啊，救我脫離這時刻』嗎？但我正是為了這時刻而來的。父啊，願你榮耀你的名！」這時候，有聲音從天上傳來：「我已經榮耀了我的名，還要再榮耀！」

不過我照著父的吩咐如此去做，是為要世界知道我愛父。「起來，我們走吧！

耶穌稍往前走，俯伏在地，禱告說，如果有可能，讓那時刻離開他。他說：「阿爸！父啊！在你，沒有不可能的事，請把這杯從我這裡拿走吧！但不要照我的意願，而要照你的意願。」

於是他們把石頭挪開。耶穌向上舉目，說：「父啊，我感謝你，因為你已經垂聽了我。

耶穌就對彼得說：「把刀收回鞘裡！父所賜給我的杯，我難道能不喝嗎？」

耶穌就回答說：「你們不知道自己在求什麼。我將要喝的杯，你們能喝嗎？」他們說：「我們能。」

亞伯蘭臉伏於地；神又對他說：

如果他說：『我不喜悅你』，看哪，我在這裡，就讓他照著他看為好的對待我吧！」

我就俯伏在他的腳前，要敬拜他。可是他對我說：「你要注意，不可這樣！我與你和你的弟兄們——那些持守有關耶穌見證的，都是同做奴僕的。你應當敬拜神！因為有關耶穌的見證，才是預言的靈魂所在。」

因為假基督們和假先知們會出現，行大神蹟和奇事，如果有可能，甚至迷惑那些蒙揀選的人。

當彼得進去的時候，哥尼流就迎上去，俯伏在他的腳前拜他。

我們堅強的人，應該擔當不堅強人的軟弱，不求自己的喜悅。我們每個人當為了鄰人的益處讓他喜悅，使他得造就。因為基督不但不求自己的喜悅，反而像經上所記的：「那些責罵你之人的責罵，都落在我身上了。」

因為假基督們和假先知們會出現，行神蹟和奇事，如果有可能，甚至迷惑那些蒙揀選的人。

並且把臉伏在耶穌腳前，感謝他。這人是個撒馬利亞人。
