While they were eating, he said,“ What I’m about to tell you is true. One of you will hand me over to my enemies.”

And as they were eating, he said,“ Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.”

While they were eating, he said,“ I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me.”

While they were eating, he said,“ Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me.”

And as they were eating, He said,“ Truly I say to you that one of you will betray Me.”

Now as they were eating, He said,“ Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me.”

and as they were eating, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

While they were eating, He said,“ I assure you: One of you will betray Me.”

And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

And while they were eating he said,“ I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me.”

As they were eating, he said,“ Most certainly I tell you that one of you will betray me.”

After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified,“ Very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me.”

If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were rising against me, I could hide.But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend,with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship at the house of God, as we walked about among the worshipers.

Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.

Then Jesus replied,“ Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!”( He meant Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, who, though one of the Twelve, was later to betray him.)

But the hand of him who is going to betray me is with mine on the table.The Son of Man will go as it has been decreed. But woe to that man who betrays him!”They began to question among themselves which of them it might be who would do this.

Then one of the Twelve— the one called Judas Iscariot— went to the chief priestsand asked,“ What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver.From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.

“ As you know, the Passover is two days away— and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.”
