But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”

After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified,“ Very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me.”

While the king was at his table, my perfume spread its fragrance.

When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table.And he said to them,“ I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.”

This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the Lord’s Passover.
