倘斯僕意謂我主稽遲、遂扑僕婢、食飲且醉、

爾妹所多瑪、與其眾女之罪、乃驕傲、飽食、安居、亦不濟助貧乏、且亦驕泰、行可惡之事於我前、我見此、則袪之、

蓋復起時、不娶不嫁、如天使然、

我將謂我靈曰、靈乎、爾多財貨積為歷年之用、可安然飲食喜樂也、

是日也、萬軍之主耶和華、詔人哭泣哀號、薙髮束麻、乃見欣喜歡忭、宰牛殺羊、食肉飲酒、曰、毋寧式飲式食、蓋明日死矣、萬軍之耶和華附耳示我曰、此罪誠不得贖、迨至於死、萬軍之主耶和華言之矣、○

與其妻子及媳、俱入方舟以避之、

爾以為患難之日遙遠、致暴虐之位速設、偃臥於象牙之牀、舒體於榻、食羣中之羔、與牢中之犢、和琴瑟之聲、歌無謂之曲、為己而製樂器、同乎大衛、以巨盂飲酒、以寶膏自沐、而為約瑟之難、則不憂焉、

兄弟乎、我姑言之、時日促矣、今而後有妻者當如無妻、哭者如無哭、喜者如無喜、購者如無有、用此世者如不妄用、蓋斯世之情狀逝矣、

既至、見亞瑪力人徧布於地、飲食舞蹈、因在非利士地、及猶大境、攘奪貨財甚多故也、大衛擊之、自黎明至次日之夕、除四百少者乘駝而遁外、無一得免者、
