Jesus said,“ Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

But Jesus called for the children, saying,“ Let the little children come to me and do not try to stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.I tell you the truth, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”

Brothers and sisters, do not be children in your thinking. Instead, be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.

So get rid of all evil and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander.And yearn like newborn infants for pure, spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up to salvation,

When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him just as God had commanded him to do.

I will confirm my covenant as a perpetual covenant between me and you. It will extend to your descendants after you throughout their generations. I will be your God and the God of your descendants after you.I will give the whole land of Canaan– the land where you are now residing– to you and your descendants after you as a permanent possession. I will be their God.”

but Hannah did not go up with them. Instead she told her husband,“ Once the boy is weaned, I will bring him and appear before the LORD, and he will remain there from then on.”

He said to me,‘ Look, you will conceive and have a son. So now, do not drink wine or beer and do not eat any food that will make you ritually unclean. For the child will be dedicated to God from birth till the day he dies.’”

But when Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them,“ Let the little children come to me and do not try to stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
