The disciples replied,“ Where would we get enough food here in the wilderness for such a huge crowd?”

门徒对他说：“我们在这旷野地方，哪里有足够的食物给这许多的人吃饱呢？”

门徒们说：“我们在旷野，从哪里得这么多的食物让这么大一群人吃饱呢？”

門徒說：「我們在這野地，哪裏有這麼多的餅叫這許多人吃飽呢？」

門徒說：「我們在這野地，哪裏有這麼多的餅讓這許多人吃飽呢？」

門徒說：「我們在這野地，哪裏有這麼多的餅讓這許多人吃飽呢？」

門徒說：「在這荒野，我們到哪裡找足夠的食物給這麼多人吃呢？」

門徒對他說：“我們在這曠野地方，哪裡有足夠的食物給這許多的人吃飽呢？”

門徒對他說：『我們在這野地哪裏有這麼多餅，讓這麼多的羣眾喫飽呢？』

門徒們說：「我們在曠野，從哪裡得這麼多的食物讓這麼大一群人吃飽呢？」

門徒曰、在野安得若許之餅、以飽斯眾耶、

門徒曰、在野、安得多餅、以飽眾耶、

門徒曰、在此野地、安得多餅以飽如此之眾乎、

徒曰：『在斯曠野、安得如許餅餌、以享若眾？』

His disciples answered,“ Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?”

His disciples answered him.“ There is nothing here,” they said.“ Where could we get enough bread to feed this large crowd?”

And the disciples said to him,“ Where are we to get enough bread in such a desolate place to feed so great a crowd?”

The disciples said to him,“ Where could we get enough bread in this desolate place to feed such a crowd?”

The disciples* said to Him,“ Where would we get so many loaves in this desolate place to satisfy such a large crowd?”

Then His disciples said to Him,“ Where could we get enough bread in the wilderness to fill such a great multitude?”

And the disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so many loaves in a desert place as to fill so great a multitude?

The disciples said to Him,“ Where could we get enough bread in this desolate place to fill such a crowd?”

The disciples said to him,“ Where can we get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy so great a crowd?”

The disciples said to him,“ Where should we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?”

But Jesus said,“ You feed them.”“ With what?” they asked.“ We’d have to work for months to earn enough money to buy food for all these people!”

His disciples replied,“ How are we supposed to find enough food to feed them out here in the wilderness?”Jesus asked,“ How much bread do you have?”“ Seven loaves,” they replied.

Jesus soon saw a huge crowd of people coming to look for him. Turning to Philip, he asked,“ Where can we buy bread to feed all these people?”He was testing Philip, for he already knew what he was going to do.Philip replied,“ Even if we worked for months, we wouldn’t have enough money to feed them!”Then Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up.“ There’s a young boy here with five barley loaves and two fish. But what good is that with this huge crowd?”

But Jesus said,“ You feed them.”“ But we have only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.“ Or are you expecting us to go and buy enough food for this whole crowd?”

That evening the disciples came to him and said,“ This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away so they can go to the villages and buy food for themselves.”

One day a man from Baal shalishah brought the man of God a sack of fresh grain and twenty loaves of barley bread made from the first grain of his harvest. Elisha said,“ Give it to the people so they can eat.”“ What?” his servant exclaimed.“ Feed a hundred people with only this?” But Elisha repeated,“ Give it to the people so they can eat, for this is what the Lord says: Everyone will eat, and there will even be some left over!”And when they gave it to the people, there was plenty for all and some left over, just as the Lord had promised.

But Moses responded to the Lord,“ There are 600,000 foot soldiers here with me, and yet you say,‘ I will give them meat for a whole month!’Even if we butchered all our flocks and herds, would that satisfy them? Even if we caught all the fish in the sea, would that be enough?”
