Jesus asked,“ How much bread do you have?” They replied,“ Seven loaves, and a few small fish.”

Still they stood there in disbelief, filled with joy and wonder. Then he asked them,“ Do you have anything here to eat?”They gave him a piece of broiled fish,

Don’t you understand even yet? Don’t you remember the 5,000 I fed with five loaves, and the baskets of leftovers you picked up?Or the 4,000 I fed with seven loaves, and the large baskets of leftovers you picked up?

When they got there, they found breakfast waiting for them— fish cooking over a charcoal fire, and some bread.“ Bring some of the fish you’ve just caught,” Jesus said.
