Immediately he made his disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd.

Then Peter said,“ Explain this parable to us.”“ Do you still lack understanding?” he asked.

Then some of his disciples said to one another,“ What is this he’s telling us:‘ In a little while, you will not see me; again in a little while, you will see me,’ and,‘ Because I am going to the Father’?”They said,“ What is this he is saying,‘ In a little while’? We don’t know what he’s talking about.”Jesus knew they wanted to ask him, and so he said to them,“ Are you asking one another about what I said,‘ In a little while, you will not see me; again in a little while, you will see me’?Truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn, but the world will rejoice. You will become sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn to joy.

He answered,“ Because the secrets of the kingdom of heaven have been given for you to know, but it has not been given to them.

When he entered the house, the blind men approached him, and Jesus said to them,“ Do you believe that I can do this?” They said to him,“ Yes, Lord.”

When he went into the house away from the crowd, his disciples asked him about the parable.

Immediately he made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowds.

After dismissing the crowds, he got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan.

He did not speak to them without a parable. Privately, however, he explained everything to his own disciples.
