彼拉多曰、真理何也、言竟、復出就猶太人、謂之曰、我不見此人有罪、

蓋天主國不在飲食、乃在義與和與聖神所賜之樂也、

退而相議曰、此人所為、無當死當繫之罪、亞基帕謂非司都曰、此人若未求審於該撒、則可釋之矣、

既訂期、有多人至保羅寓、保羅自朝至暮、歷歷證明天主國之道、引摩西律法、及諸先知預言、詳論耶穌之事以勸眾、

棄隱慝可恥之事、不行詭詐、不混天主之道、惟表彰真理、使人之心、在天主前、以我為是、若我之福音不明、惟為沈淪者不明、

上智在通衢宣呼、在街市揚聲、在諠譁之路頭大聲而呼、在城門之口在城中發言、曰、爾拙者悅於拙、侮慢者樂於侮慢、愚者厭惡知識、將至何時、

我子、爾若聽受我言、以我誡命存記於心、傾耳聽智慧言、專心求明哲、呼求明理、聲言欲得明哲、索之若銀、尋之若寶、則爾必明敬畏主之理、必獲知天主之道、因天主賜人智慧、知識明哲、皆由天主之口而出、

遣之宣天主國之道、醫有病者、

邑有病者、則醫之、且告眾曰、天主之國近爾矣、

愚者既無頴悟、執金於手以市智慧、亦屬徒然、

敬畏天主、是為智慧之本、愚昧人藐視智慧與訓誨、

我素於爾曹中往來、傳天主國之道、今知此後爾不復見我面、

若辯論言詞名號及爾律法、爾曹自理之、若此之事、我不審判、

惟爾之言、當是是否否、過此則由惡惡或作惡者而出也、○

眾聞死者復活之言、有笑之者、有曰、我儕願再聞爾說此、

保羅言義與節及將來之審判、腓力司甚懼、曰、今且退、我有便時、再召爾、腓力司冀得保羅之賄以釋之、故屢召共語、

彼既不願存天主於念、天主聽其存邪僻之心、行所不當行者、

爾胡不明我言、因爾不能聽我道故也、

播於道旁者、指播道於人、甫聽之、而撒但即至、以所播於其心之道奪之、

使凡不信真理反悅不義者、悉被定罪、○

凡違逆不順真理而行不義者、則報以忿怒、

與眾俱異者、惟縱己欲、所行衝冒、違諸善謀、愚者不喜達道、惟喜顯露己意、

彼與之爭辯、僅為其敬鬼神之事、又為已死者名耶穌、保羅言其生也、為此而訟之、如此辯論、我既不明、故問保羅、欲往耶路撒冷、在彼為此事聽審否、

我在眾聖徒中、雖為至微者、猶蒙天主賜恩、使我於異邦人中、傳基督不可測之富有、
