凡是說話抵擋人子的，還能被赦免；但如果有人說話抵擋聖靈，無論在這世代，或在將要來的世代，都不能被赦免。

語侵人子、猶可宥也；語忤聖神、則斯世來世、莫之宥矣。

Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

但如果有人褻瀆聖靈，他永遠得不到赦免，而且必擔當永遠的罪。」

要知道，我們領受了真理的知識以後，如果還故意犯罪，就不再有贖罪的祭物被保留下來；只保留了對審判的可怕等待，和那將要吞滅敵對者的嫉恨之火。任何拒絕摩西律法的人，憑兩個或三個見證人的見證，就得不到憐憫而死，何況一個人踐踏了神的兒子，把那使自己成聖的立約之血看做是俗物，又侮辱了恩典的聖靈，你們想想，這個人難道不該受更厲害的懲罰嗎？

原來，如果有人蒙過一次光照、嘗過屬天恩賜的滋味、曾經與聖靈有份、嘗過神美善的話語和將要來臨之世代的權能，卻背棄了真理，就不可能再次更新以至於悔改了。因為他們親自把神的兒子再次釘上十字架，公然羞辱他。

雖然我原先是褻瀆神的、逼迫人的、侮慢人的，但是我卻蒙了憐憫，因為我是在不信、不明白的時候做的；

耶穌這話是指著信他的人所要領受的聖靈而說的。當時，聖靈還沒有臨到，因為耶穌還沒有得榮耀。

所有說話抵擋人子的，還能被赦免；但那褻瀆聖靈的，不能被赦免。

為此，我告訴你們：人一切的罪和褻瀆的話都能被赦免，但褻瀆聖靈卻不能被赦免。

遠遠高過一切統治的、掌權的、有勢力的、有主權的，和一切被稱的名號，不僅在這世代，而且也在那將要來臨的世代。

那時，耶穌說：「父啊，赦免他們！因為他們不知道自己在做什麼。」士兵們抽籤分了他的衣服。

這恩典管教我們，使我們拒絕不敬神的事和地上的欲望，在今世能過自制、公義、敬神的生活，

事實上，我自己曾經認為必須多做反對拿撒勒人耶穌之名的事，我在耶路撒冷也是這樣做的。我不但從祭司長們得了權柄把許多聖徒關進監獄，而且當他們被殺的時候，我也投了一票。我在各會堂裡，經常用刑逼他們說褻瀆的話，又越發惱恨他們，甚至到國外的城市去逼迫他們。

耶穌對他們說：「這世代的兒女又娶又嫁；但那些算是配得上承受那世代，又配得上從死人中復活的人，既不娶也不嫁。

「基督耶穌來到這世界，為要拯救罪人。」這話是信實的，值得完全接受。在罪人中我是首惡，

所以，你們應當悔改，應當回轉，使你們的罪孽被抹去，

人子來了，也吃也喝，他們就說：『看，這個貪食好酒的人！稅吏和罪人的朋友！』然而，智慧是憑著智慧的行為被證明為義的。」

人群中有許多人對他議論紛紛；有的說：「他是好人。」也有的說：「不，他是迷惑民眾的。」

都必定在今世得到百倍，就是房屋、兄弟、姐妹、母親、兒女和田產，也會有逼迫；但在來世得到永恆的生命。

財主在陰間的痛苦中，舉目遠遠地望見亞伯拉罕，又望見拉撒路在他懷裡，就呼喚說：『我父亞伯拉罕，可憐我吧！請打發拉撒路用指頭蘸點水，涼一下我的舌頭吧，因為我在這火焰裡，極其痛苦！』「可是亞伯拉罕說：『孩子啊，你當想起，你一生怎樣享了你的福，而拉撒路怎樣受了苦；但如今他在這裡受到安慰，你卻在痛苦中。這一切之外，在我們和你們之間，隔著巨大的深淵，所以人想要從這邊過到你們那邊是不可能的，從那邊過到我們這邊也是不可能的。』

他們回答說：「你也不會是加利利人吧？你去查一查看，先知是不會從加利利興起的！」

這不就是那木匠的兒子嗎？他的母親不是叫瑪麗亞嗎？他的弟弟們不是雅各、約西、西門和猶大嗎？

人子來了，也吃也喝，你們就說：『看，這個貪食好酒的人！稅吏和罪人的朋友！』

你們拒絕了神聖、公義的那一位，而要求釋放一個殺人犯給你們。你們殺害了生命的創始者，神卻使他從死人中復活了！我們就是這事的見證人。
