鬼控制着他，他常常突然狂喊乱叫、抽搐、口吐白沫，倍受折磨，无休无止。

他被鬼抓住就忽然喊叫；鬼又叫他抽风，口中流沫，并且重重地伤害他，难以离开他。

A spirit seizes him and he suddenly screams; it throws him into convulsions so that he foams at the mouth. It scarcely ever leaves him and is destroying him.

这是因为耶稣已命令污鬼离开那人。那人多次被污鬼操纵，人们用铁链脚镣把他锁起来看管，他竟把锁链也扯断，被鬼催逼到荒野。

尽管有人多次用铁链和脚镣锁住他，但他挣断了铁链，砸碎了脚镣。没有人能制服他。他昼夜在坟场和山野间大喊大叫，又用石头砍自己。

耶稣责备它说：“住口！从他身上出来！”污鬼当场把那人摔倒，然后从他身上离开了，丝毫没有伤害他。

你们务要谨慎，警醒，因为你们的仇敌魔鬼好像咆哮的狮子四处游走，寻找可以吞吃的猎物。

那鬼发出喊叫，使孩子剧烈地抽搐了一阵，就出来了。孩子躺在地上一动也不动，大家都以为他死了。

他们把那孩子带到耶稣面前。那鬼一见耶稣，就使孩子抽搐，倒在地上打滚，口吐白沫。

它们的王是无底坑的天使，希伯来文名叫亚巴顿，希腊文名叫亚玻伦，意思是“毁灭者”。

你们是出于你们的父魔鬼，你们乐意顺着它的私欲行。魔鬼从起初就是个杀人凶手，从不站在真理这一边，因为它心里根本没有真理。撒谎是它的本性，因为它是撒谎者，又是撒谎者的始祖。
