Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city.

在房頂的不要下來，也不要進到屋子裡拿甚麼東西；

當那日，人在房頂上，器具在屋裡，不要下來拿；在田裡的，照樣不要回家。應當記著羅得的妻子的教訓。凡是想保全生命的，必喪掉生命；凡是犧牲生命的，卻必保全生命。

耶利米離開耶路撒冷，往便雅憫地去，要在那裡，在同鄉中間，取得自己的產業。

我聽見另一個聲音從天上來，說：“從那城出來吧，我的子民！免得在她的罪上有分，受她所受的災難；

羅得的妻子在他後面向後一望，就變成了鹽柱。

但是，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒上來攻打這地的時候，我們就說：‘來吧！為了迦勒底和亞蘭人的軍隊的緣故，我們到耶路撒冷去。’這樣，我們才住在耶路撒冷。”

摩西告訴會眾：“你們要遠離這些惡人的帳幕，凡是他們的東西，你們都不可摸，免得你們因他們的一切罪惡同遭毀滅。”

“便雅憫人哪！趕快逃命，離開耶路撒冷。你們要在提哥亞吹角，在伯．哈基琳升烽火；因為災禍和嚴重的毀滅，已從北方迫近。

那時，住在猶太的應當逃到山上；

精明人看見災禍，就躲藏起來；愚蒙人卻往前走，自取禍害。

二人把他們帶出來以後，其中一位說：“逃命吧，不要回頭看，也不可留在這片平原上，要逃到山上去，免得你被除滅。”

法老的臣僕中有懼怕耶和華這話的，就叫他的僕人和牲畜進屋裡來。但那不把耶和華這話放在心上的，卻把他的僕人和牲畜留在田裡。
