如羅得時、其人飲食貿易、樹蓺搆造、

又好像罗得的日子；人又吃又喝，又买又卖，又耕种又盖造。

又如羅德之日、人方飲食貿易、樹藝建築、晏如也。

富者當思將來之苦而號泣、財自傷、衣自蠹、金銀黯敗、其黯為證、若火之燃、災及其身、蓋爾所積、必見鞫於末日、穫爾田之傭、不給其值、則籲呼升聞於萬有之主、爾處世、樂宴樂、縱淫佚、以快心志、猶牲牷肥腯、以待宰割、

爾姊所多馬、與其眾女、所犯之罪、即驕傲、饕餮、逸志、不恤貧乏、詡詡自誇、干我所痛疾之事、故我不得不去之。

日暮、二天使至所多馬、時羅得坐於邑門、見之、遂起晉接、俯伏、曰、長者歟、請回步履、以臨僕舍、濯足而宿、夙興遄征、可也。曰、否。我將宿於衢。羅得促之、使者旋踵、以入其室、乃炊無酵餅、肆筵使食。○未及寢、所多馬人咸集、自老迄幼、環其屋、呼羅得曰、暮就汝之人何在、可出之、以遂我所欲。羅得出、即閉其門、曰、兄弟、毋作斯惡、我有二女、尚未適人、容我出之、任爾所為、特此人既造我舍、請毋擾。曰、爾速退、爾旅於此、乃欲為士師乎。今將害爾、較彼尤甚。且促羅得、勢甚迫切、徑前、欲破其門。天使手援羅得入、門即閉、使眾於門外、自老迄幼、目眯不明、索門不得。○天使謂羅得曰、於此爾尚有戚族乎、或子、或女、或壻、及邑中所有者、俱攜之出、吾儕將滅是邦、其罪之大、聲聞於耶和華、故遣我滅之。羅得出、告聘二女之壻、曰、耶和華將滅是邑、爾且出此。其壻聞之、以為戲言。○及旦、天使促羅得曰、起、攜若妻、及在此二女、恐與邑共罹災害。耶和華矜恤羅得、羅得尚遲延、天使執其手、與妻及女、咸引之出、置於邑外。曰、爾必遁逃、以全生命、毋回顧、毋止於平原、當避於山、否則必亡、羅得曰、主不可、僕蒙爾恩、施我以莫大之仁慈、全我生命、茲若避於山、恐遭災害、亦終必亡、附近有小邑、易以逃匿、是小邑容我逃匿、以全我命。曰許汝所求、爾所言之邑、我不翦滅。爾其速匿於彼、爾尚未至、吾不能有所作為。因邑甚小、故名瑣耳。○日出時、羅得入瑣耳。耶和華自天雨火硫於所多馬蛾摩拉、由是邑垣、平壤、民生、植物、無不盡滅。羅得妻回顧、變為鹽柱。亞伯拉罕夙興、至昔覲耶和華之處、望所多馬蛾摩拉、與平原一境、則見烟焰騰上、如出洪爐。

所多馬人作惡、重獲罪於耶和華。

耶和華曰、所多馬蛾摩拉罪惡貫盈、聲聞於上。今我臨格、監其動作、實如所聞、設有不若是者、我亦能知。○
