And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

可是他醒悟过来的时候，就说：‘我父亲那么多的雇工都食物充足，我却要在这里饿死吗？

他醒悟過來，就說：『我父親有多少的雇工，口糧有餘，我倒在這裏餓死嗎？

最後，他醒悟過來，心想，『在我父親家裡，連僱工的口糧都綽綽有餘，我現在卻要在這裡餓死嗎？

他回悟過來，就說：「我父親有多少雇工，食物充足有餘，我倒在這裏因饑餓而喪命啊？

可是他醒悟過來的時候，就說：『我父親那麼多的雇工都食物充足，我卻要在這裡餓死嗎？

既而悟曰、我父若許傭人、其糧有餘、我乃於此飢而死耶、

悔曰、我父若多傭人、其糧有餘、我乃饑而死乎、

既而省悟曰、我父傭人甚多、其糧有餘、而我餓死乎、

因自反曰：「父家多少傭工、皆得飽食而有餘、而吾將為他鄉之餓殍矣、

“ When he came to his senses, he said,‘ How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death!

“ Then he began to think clearly again. He said,‘ How many of my father’s hired servants have more than enough food! But here I am dying from hunger!

“ But when he came to himself, he said,‘ How many of my father’s hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with hunger!

“ When he finally came to his senses, he said to himself,‘ At home even the hired servants have food enough to spare, and here I am dying of hunger!

When he came to his senses, he said,‘ How many of my father’s hired workers have more than enough food, and here I am dying of hunger!

But when he came to his senses, he said,‘ How many of my father’s hired laborers have more than enough bread, but I am dying here from hunger!

“ But when he came to himself, he said,‘ How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

But when he came to himself he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish here with hunger!

When he came to his senses, he said,‘ How many of my father’s hired hands have more than enough food, and here I am dying of hunger!

But when he came to himself he said,‘ How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough to spare, and I’m dying with hunger!

Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ,( by grace ye are saved;)

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled[ them] to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted[ them] even unto strange cities.Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?[ it is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks.And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;Delivering thee from the people, and[ from] the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,To open their eyes,[ and] to turn[ them] from darkness to light, and[ from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

Now when they heard[ this], they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men[ and] brethren, what shall we do?

As a dream when[ one] awaketh;[ so], O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.

And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Jerusalem remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old, when her people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did help her: the adversaries saw her,[ and] did mock at her sabbaths.

This[ is] an evil among all[ things] that are done under the sun, that[ there is] one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness[ is] in their heart while they live, and after that[ they go] to the dead.

Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon[ my] thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.

Do not err, my beloved brethren.Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
