“‘ Do not hate a fellow Israelite in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in their guilt.

“‘ Do not hate another Israelite in your heart. Correct your neighbor boldly when they do something wrong. Then you will not share their guilt.

“ You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him.

“ Do not nurse hatred in your heart for any of your relatives. Confront people directly so you will not be held guilty for their sin.

“ Do not harbor hatred against your brother. Rebuke your neighbor directly, and you will not incur guilt because of him.

‘ You shall not hate your fellow countryman in your heart; you may certainly rebuke your neighbor, but you are not to incur sin because of him.

‘ You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.

Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thy heart: thou shalt surely rebuke thy neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.

“ You must not harbor hatred against your brother. Rebuke your neighbor directly, and you will not incur guilt because of him.

Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

You must not hate your brother in your heart. You must surely reprove your fellow citizen so that you do not incur sin on account of him.

But he who hates his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and doesn’t know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

He who says he is in the light and hates his brother is in the darkness even until now.

Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.

Better is open rebuke than hidden love.The wounds of a friend are faithful, although the kisses of an enemy are profuse.

Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.

“ If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.

A malicious man disguises himself with his lips, but he harbors evil in his heart.When his speech is charming, don’t believe him, for there are seven abominations in his heart.His malice may be concealed by deception, but his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly.

You are arrogant, and didn’t mourn instead, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you.

Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them.

who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.

Let the righteous strike me, it is kindness; let him reprove me, it is like oil on the head; don’t let my head refuse it; Yet my prayer is always against evil deeds.

Those who sin, reprove in the sight of all, that the rest also may be in fear.

Say these things and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one despise you.

This testimony is true. For this cause, reprove them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,

preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching.

Don’t reprove a scoffer, lest he hate you. Reprove a wise person, and he will love you.

Lay hands hastily on no one. Don’t be a participant in other people’s sins. Keep yourself pure.

Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him. Esau said in his heart,“ The days of mourning for my father are at hand. Then I will kill my brother Jacob.”

But when Peter came to Antioch, I resisted him to his face, because he stood condemned.For before some people came from James, he ate with the Gentiles. But when they came, he drew back and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision.And the rest of the Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy.But when I saw that they didn’t walk uprightly according to the truth of the Good News, I said to Peter before them all,“ If you, being a Jew, live as the Gentiles do, and not as the Jews do, why do you compel the Gentiles to live as the Jews do?
