野狗尚且用乳房哺养它们的幼儿；但我的众民变得多么残忍，像旷野的鸵鸟一样。

野狗尚且把奶乳哺其子，我民的妇人倒成为残忍，好像旷野的鸵鸟一般。

Even jackals offer their breasts to nurse their young, but my people have become heartless like ostriches in the desert.

Even wild dogs nurse their young pups. But my people are as mean as ostriches in the desert.

因此，在你中间，父亲要吃儿子，儿子要吃父亲。我要向你施行审判，把你余剩的众人分散到四方去。

在他们被围困和受压迫之中，就是在仇敌和寻索他们性命的人压迫他们的时候，我必使他们吞吃自己的儿女的肉，各人也彼此吃对方的肉。’

鸵鸟的翅膀欣然鼓动，但它的翎毛和羽毛哪有慈爱呢？它把蛋都留在地上，使它们在土里得温暖，它却忘记了人的脚可以把蛋踩碎，野地的走兽会把蛋践踏。它苛待幼雏，看它们好像不是自己生的，就算它的劳苦白费了，也漠不关心，

慈心的妇人亲手烹煮自己所生的孩子；在我众民（“我众民”原文作“我子民的女子”）遭毁灭的时候，孩子竟成了母亲的食物。

他们必把你围困在你的各城里，直到在你的全境内你所倚靠高大和坚固的城墙都被攻陷；他们必把你围困在耶和华你的神赐给你的全地的各城里。你在仇敌围困和窘迫你的时候，要吃你身所生的，就是吃耶和华你的神赐给你的儿女的肉。你们中间温柔嫩弱的男人，必敌视自己的兄弟、怀中的妻子和余剩的儿女；甚至在你的仇敌围困和窘迫你在各城里的时候，他要吃自己儿女的肉，却不肯分给他们任何人，因为他没有什么剩下的。你们中间温柔娇嫩的妇人，素来因为温柔娇嫩不肯把脚掌踏在地上，现在必敌视自己怀中的丈夫和自己的儿女。她暗中把自己两腿之间出来的胞衣，和自己生的儿女吃掉，因为在你的仇敌围困和窘迫你在各城里的时候，她什么都没有了。

“耶和华啊，求你观看！求你鉴察！你曾这样对待过谁呢？难道妇人应该吃掉自己所生的，就是自己所抚养的婴孩吗？难道祭司和先知应该在主的圣所里被杀害吗？”

你们要吃自己儿子的肉，女儿的肉也要吃。

耶稣转过身来对她们说：“耶路撒冷的女儿啊，不要为我哭，却要为你们自己和你们的儿女哭。日子将到，人必说：‘不生育的和没有怀过胎的，也没有哺养过婴儿的有福了。’

冥顽不灵的、不守信用的、冷酷无情的、没有恻隐之心的。

以色列王在城墙上经过时，有一个妇人向他呼求说：“我主我王啊，救救我！”他说：“如果耶和华不救你，我又从哪里救你？是从打谷场，或是从榨酒池呢？”王对她说：“到底有什么事呢？”她说：“这妇人对我说：‘把你的儿子交出来，今日我们好把他吃了；明天我们可以吃我的儿子。’于是我们把我的儿子煮了，把他吃了。第二日，我对她说：‘把你的儿子交出来，我们好把他吃了。’她却把她的儿子收藏起来。”

妇人怎能忘记她吃奶的婴孩，不怜悯她亲生的儿子呢？即使她们可能忘记，我也不会忘记你。
