我們有這寶貝放在瓦器裏，要顯明這莫大的能力是出於神，不是出於我們。

我拿猶大作上弦的弓；我拿以法蓮為張弓的箭。錫安哪，我要激發你的眾子，攻擊希臘的眾子，使你如勇士的刀。

他們吊起首領的手，也不尊敬老人的面。

窰匠難道沒有權柄從一團泥裏拿一塊做成貴重的器皿，又拿一塊做成卑賤的器皿嗎？倘若神要顯明他的忿怒，彰顯他的權能，就多多忍耐寬容那可怒、預備遭毀滅的器皿，又要將他豐盛的榮耀彰顯在那蒙憐憫、早預備得榮耀的器皿上。

她所生育的諸子中，沒有一個引導她的；她所養大的諸子中，沒有一個攙扶她的。
