野狗尚且把奶乳哺其子，我民的婦人倒成為殘忍，好像曠野的鴕鳥一般。

豺狼尚且哺养自己的幼儿，我的子民却像荒野的鸵鸟一样残忍无情。

野狗尚且用乳房哺养它们的幼儿；但我的众民变得多么残忍，像旷野的鸵鸟一样。

野狗尚且哺乳其子，我百姓的婦人反倒殘忍，如曠野的鴕鳥一般；

Even jackals offer their breasts to nurse their young, but my people have become heartless like ostriches in the desert.

在你中間父親要吃兒子，兒子要吃父親。我必向你施行審判，我必將你所剩下的分散四方。」

我必使他們在圍困窘迫之中，就是仇敵和尋索其命的人窘迫他們的時候，各人吃自己兒女的肉和朋友的肉。』

鴕鳥的翅膀歡然搧展，豈是顯慈愛的翎毛和羽毛嗎？因牠把蛋留在地上，在塵土中使得溫暖；卻想不到被腳踹碎，或被野獸踐踏。牠忍心待雛，似乎不是自己的；雖然徒受勞苦，也不為雛懼怕；

慈心的婦人，當我眾民被毀滅的時候，親手煮自己的兒女作為食物。

他們必將你困在你各城裏，直到你所倚靠、高大堅固的城牆都被攻塌。他們必將你困在耶和華－你神所賜你遍地的各城裏。你在仇敵圍困窘迫之中，必吃你本身所生的，就是耶和華－你神所賜給你的兒女之肉。你們中間，柔弱嬌嫩的人必惡眼看他弟兄和他懷中的妻，並他餘剩的兒女；甚至在你受仇敵圍困窘迫的城中，他要吃兒女的肉，不肯分一點給他的親人，因為他一無所剩。你們中間，柔弱嬌嫩的婦人，是因嬌嫩柔弱不肯把腳踏地的，必惡眼看她懷中的丈夫和她的兒女。她兩腿中間出來的嬰孩與她所要生的兒女，她因缺乏一切就要在你受仇敵圍困窘迫的城中將他們暗暗地吃了。

耶和華啊，求你觀看！見你向誰這樣行？婦人豈可吃自己所生育手裏所搖弄的嬰孩嗎？祭司和先知豈可在主的聖所中被殺戮嗎？

並且你們要吃兒子的肉，也要吃女兒的肉。

耶穌轉身對她們說：「耶路撒冷的女子，不要為我哭，當為自己和自己的兒女哭。因為日子要到，人必說：『不生育的，和未曾懷胎的，未曾乳養嬰孩的，有福了！』

無知的、背約的、無親情的、不憐憫人的。

一日，以色列王在城上經過，有一個婦人向他呼叫說：「我主，我王啊！求你幫助。」王說：「耶和華不幫助你，我從何處幫助你？是從禾場，是從酒醡呢？」王問婦人說：「你有甚麼苦處？」她回答說：「這婦人對我說：『將你的兒子取來，我們今日可以吃，明日可以吃我的兒子。』我們就煮了我的兒子吃了。次日我對她說：『要將你的兒子取來，我們可以吃。』她卻將她的兒子藏起來了。」

婦人焉能忘記她吃奶的嬰孩，不憐恤她所生的兒子？即或有忘記的，我卻不忘記你。
