主何竟发怒，使黑云遮蔽锡安城！他将以色列的华美从天扔在地上；在他发怒的日子并不记念自己的脚凳。

How the Lord has covered Daughter Zion with the cloud of his anger! He has hurled down the splendor of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

『我們要進他的幕所，在他的腳凳前敬拜。』

大衛王站起來，說：『我的弟兄、我的人民啊，你們要聽我；我心裏本有意思要為永恆主的約櫃建造一座安居之殿、作為我們之上帝的腳凳；我並且已經準備好要建造了。

我們那聖而榮美的殿、我們列祖頌讚你的所在、都給火燒了；我們所喜愛的盡都荒廢了。

我把你安置跟一個護衛者被膏的基路伯在一起；你就在上帝的聖山上；在發光如火的寶石中間往來。從被創造的日子你的行徑就都完善，直到在你中間發現了不義。因為你作的生意很多，你中間就充滿了強暴的事，以致你犯罪；因此我拋擲你為污俗離開上帝的山，護衛者基路伯也將你從發光如火的寶石中除滅掉。

『明亮之星，啓明之子啊，你怎麼從天上墜落啊！你這使列國屈服的，你怎麼被砍倒於地上啊！你心裏曾說：「我必升到天上；我必高設我的寶座在高高之眾星以上；我必坐在諸神的聚會山上，在北方之極處；我必升到雲霄丘上；跟至高者同等。」然而你竟被送下陰間，到陰坑中的極深處了！

我在答比匿折斷了埃及的諸軛，使她勢力所驕矜的止息於其中；那時日光在答比匿必變為黑暗；這城必有密雲遮蔽她，她的人民呢、必被擄去。

你呢、迦伯農啊！難道你要被高舉到天上麼？你必被降下到陰間哪！因為在你中間所行過的異能，若行在所多瑪，它還可以存到今日。

你們要尊永恆主我們的上帝為至高，在他的腳凳前敬拜；惟獨他至聖。

『你以怒氣籠罩着自己，而追趕我們；你殺戮，並不顧惜；你以密雲遮蔽着自己，以致人的禱告不能透入。

一個黑暗墨黑的日子，一個密雲暗霧的日子，像烏黑鋪滿着山嶺的是一團隊蝗蟲、又大又強盛；從來沒有這樣的，以後也不會再有，直到萬代萬年。

以色列啊，憂傷哦！他在你的山丘上被刺死；英雄怎麼竟仆倒啊！

在天上就有戰爭。米迦勒和他的使者對龍爭戰；龍和他的使者也來爭戰。他們不能得勝，在天上再也找不着他們的地位了。於是大龍被摔下：大龍就是古蛇，叫魔鬼又叫撒但的，就是那迷惑普天下的。他被摔在地上，他的使者也同他被摔下。

怎麼啦！金子竟然失光啊！黃金竟然變質啊！聖石頭竟倒在各街頭啊！

他們把它的妝飾之華美變成了狂傲的因由，又用它去製造可憎可厭惡的形像，因此我使他們看它為污穢之物。我必將它交於外族人的手做掠物，交於地上的惡人為擄物；他們必褻瀆它。我必轉臉不顧以色列人，任憑惡人褻瀆我寶貴之地；兇暴人必進來褻瀆她，

怎麼啦！先前滿有人民的城，現在竟自獨坐啊！先前在列國中為大的，現在竟如寡婦啊！先前在諸省中為王后的，現在竟成了作苦工的啊！

「你要告訴以色列家說：主永恆主這麼說：看吧，我必使我的聖所、你們勢力所驕矜的、你們眼裏所喜愛的、你們心中所愛惜的、被褻瀆；你們留下的兒女必倒斃於刀下。

你呢、迦伯農啊！難道你要被高舉到天上麼？你必被降下到陰間！

我使你熄滅時，必將天遮蔽着，使星辰昏暗現悲相；我必用密雲去遮掩日頭，月亮必不發光。天上之光的發光體我必使它們在你上頭都昏暗現悲相；我必將黑暗放在你國內：這是主永恆主發神諭說的。

耶穌對他們說：『我看見撒但從天上跌了下來，像閃電一樣。

只給孩子起名叫以迦博，說：『榮耀從以色列流亡去了』；這是因為上帝的櫃被拿了去，又因為她公公和丈夫都死了。
