The Lord gave them rest on every side, just as he had sworn to their ancestors. Not one of their enemies withstood them; the Lord gave all their enemies into their hands.

將漸以逐斯民、惟不欲速、免致野獸孳生。爾之上帝耶和華既屢敗爾敵、大滅其能、將王及民、付於爾手、則爾當滅其名於天下、無人能禦爾、待爾殲之、

我延袤爾境、自紅海至非利士人海、自曠野至大河、斯土之民、付於爾手、逐於爾前。

迨耶和華以綏安賜爾同儕、可得其地、與爾無異、後爾可歸耶和華僕摩西所賜約但東之地、據而有之、

今爾上帝耶和華、踐其前言、俾爾同儕安居、爾可歸幕、在約但東、耶和華僕摩西所給汝之業、

曰耶和華之僕摩西、所言當憶勿忘、其言曰、爾上帝耶和華以斯地錫爾、畀爾綏安、

於是流便、伽得二支派、馬拿西支派之半、離迦南之示羅、別以色列族、歸其所得之業、在基列地、循耶和華所諭摩西之命。
