我降臨以拯之、脫於埃及人手、導出其境、以詣至腴至廣之地、其地產乳與蜜、即迦南人、赫人、亞摩哩人、比哩洗人、希未人、耶布士人所處者。

耶和華據其巔曰、我乃爾祖亞伯拉罕與以撒之上帝耶和華、爾所寢之地、悉以賚爾、爰及苗裔。爾裔繁衍如塵沙、蔓延四方、天下兆民、憑藉爾裔、以徼福祉。

爾既至爾上帝耶和華所錫之地、據而居之、意謂必立王、如列邦之民然、

耶和華顯現與亞伯蘭曰、我將以斯土、賜爾苗裔、亞伯蘭乃於顯現之處、築壇以祭。

耶和華諭之曰、昔我所誓亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各以地錫其後裔者即此、爾可目睹、惟不得濟。○
