就是说，正如约拿在大鱼的肚子里三天三夜，人子也照样将要在地心三天三夜。

就是说，约拿怎样成了对尼尼微人的一个神迹，人子也将照样成为对这世代的一个神迹。

一个邪恶、淫乱的世代会寻求神迹，可是除了约拿的神迹以外，不会有神迹赐给它了。”然后耶稣就离开他们走了。

其中有巨大的海洋，两面宽阔；海里游动的活物无法数算，大小生物都有；那里有船只航行，你所造的水怪在里面玩耍。

神就创造了海中的巨兽和在水中群聚、活动的各样生物，各从其类；又创造了各样有翅膀的飞鸟，各从其类。神看这是好的。

耶和华神指派了一棵蓖麻，使它长起来高过约拿，为他的头遮荫，好解脱他的苦恼。于是约拿因这棵蓖麻而欢喜，大大喜乐。
