But I have a mind as well as you; I am not inferior to you. Who does not know all these things?

淡而無鹽的食物有甚麼好吃呢？蛋白有甚麼味道呢？這些使我惡心的食物，我必不肯嘗。

不要照著愚昧人的愚妄回答他，免得你像他一樣。

“無能力的，你怎樣幫助他，膀臂無力的，你怎樣拯救他！無智慧的，你怎樣教導他，顯明你豐盛的智慧！

說來慚愧，我們太軟弱了。說句愚昧的話，如果有人在甚麼事上是勇敢的，我也是勇敢的。他們是希伯來人嗎？我也是。他們是以色列人嗎？我也是。他們是亞伯拉罕的後裔嗎？我也是。他們是基督的僕人嗎？說句狂話，我更是。我受更多的勞苦，更多的坐監，受了過量的鞭打，常常有生命的危險。
