Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.

Whoever speaks on their own does it to get personal honor. But someone who works for the honor of the one who sent him is truthful. Nothing about him is false.

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.Give no offense, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God,just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

When Jesus heard that, He said,“ This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

Jesus answered,“ I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me.And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges.

As many as desire to make a good showing in the flesh, these would compel you to be circumcised, only that they may not suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.For not even those who are circumcised keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled.He must increase, but I must decrease.

Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, saying,“ I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.”

So, when he had gone out, Jesus said,“ Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in Him.If God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself, and glorify Him immediately.

Now therefore, let Me alone, that My wrath may burn hot against them and I may consume them. And I will make of you a great nation.”Then Moses pleaded with the Lord his God, and said:“ Lord, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?Why should the Egyptians speak, and say,‘ He brought them out to harm them, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth’? Turn from Your fierce wrath, and relent from this harm to Your people.Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Your own self, and said to them,‘ I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven; and all this land that I have spoken of I give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.’”

Nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, when we might have made demands as apostles of Christ.

Jesus answered,“ If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God.

Then Moses said to him,“ Are you zealous for my sake? Oh, that all the LORD’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!”

I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

It is not good to eat much honey; So to seek one’s own glory is not glory.
