毋為可壞之糧而勞、當為存至永生之糧而勞、即人子所將賜爾者、蓋父天主曾以印印證之矣、

勸爾勿務易腐之糧、宜務永生之糧、此糧惟受天主聖父印證之人子、能賜於爾。』

so as to turn your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;yes, if you call out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding;if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures:then you will understand the fear of Yahweh, and find the knowledge of God.For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

Therefore since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness,looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, which will cause the burning heavens to be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without defect and blameless in his sight.

All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.

“ Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal;

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father.

Jesus answered her,“ Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again,but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”

He who has received his witness has set his seal to this, that God is true.

They said therefore to him,“ What must we do, that we may work the works of God?”Jesus answered them,“ This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”

lest there be any sexually immoral person, or profane person, like Esau, who sold his birthright for one meal.

for which I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.

He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound,to proclaim the year of Yahweh’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,to provide for those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yahweh, that he may be glorified.

He received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while he was in uncircumcision, that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they might be in uncircumcision, that righteousness might also be accounted to them.

I know that you always listen to me, but because of the multitude standing around I said this, that they may believe that you sent me.”

For the sun arises with the scorching wind and withers the grass, and the flower in it falls, and the beauty of its appearance perishes. So the rich man will also fade away in his pursuits.

If I hadn’t done among them the works which no one else did, they wouldn’t have had sin. But now they have seen and also hated both me and my Father.

A voice came out of the sky,“ You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

I am one who testifies about myself, and the Father who sent me testifies about me.”

( all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men?

“ Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods,” but God will bring to nothing both it and them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

“ Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him among you, even as you yourselves know,

When goods increase, those who eat them are increased; and what advantage is there to its owner, except to feast on them with his eyes?The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, whether he eats little or much; but the abundance of the rich will not allow him to sleep.There is a grievous evil which I have seen under the sun: wealth kept by its owner to his harm.Those riches perish by misfortune, and if he has fathered a son, there is nothing in his hand.As he came out of his mother’s womb, naked shall he go again as he came, and shall take nothing for his labor, which he may carry away in his hand.This also is a grievous evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go. And what profit does he have who labors for the wind?

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

“ Therefore don’t be anxious, saying,‘ What will we eat?’,‘ What will we drink?’ or,‘ With what will we be clothed?’For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

“ The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed,and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him.He began to tell them,“ Today, this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”

Let’s therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.

Jesus said to him,“ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

If I don’t do the works of my Father, don’t believe me.But if I do them, though you don’t believe me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.”

A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit.Yahweh’s Spirit will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh.His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;

But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she came up to him, and said,“ Lord, don’t you care that my sister left me to serve alone? Ask her therefore to help me.”Jesus answered her,“ Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things,but one thing is needed. Mary has chosen the good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

Don’t you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, that you may win.Every man who strives in the games exercises self- control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.I therefore run like that, not aimlessly. I fight like that, not beating the air,but I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.

If to others I am not an apostle, yet at least I am to you; for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

Jesus said to him,“ The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”

Behold, isn’t it of Yahweh of Armies that the peoples labor for the fire, and the nations weary themselves for vanity?

while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
