After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say,“ Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

The people saw the sign that Jesus did. Then they began to say,“ This must be the Prophet who is supposed to come into the world.”

When the people saw the sign that he had done, they said,“ This is indeed the Prophet who is to come into the world!”

When the people saw him do this miraculous sign, they exclaimed,“ Surely, he is the Prophet we have been expecting!”

When the people saw the sign he had done, they said,“ This truly is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Therefore when the people saw the sign which He had performed, they said,“ This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said,“ This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Now when the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus performed, they began to say to one another,“ This is certainly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

When therefore the people saw the sign which Jesus did, they said,“ This is truly the prophet who comes into the world.”

大家都说：“这就是那先知耶稣，是从加利利的拿撒勒来的。”

“你就是那位要来的，还是我们要等别人呢？”

群众中有人听了这些话，就说：“这真是‘那位先知’！”

“耶和华你的神要从你中间，就是从你的众兄弟中间，给你兴起一位先知来，像我一样；你们要听从他。这正是你在何烈山开大会的日子，求耶和华你的神的一切话，说：‘不要让我再听见耶和华我的神的声音了；也不要让我再看见这大火了，免得我死亡。’耶和华对我说：‘他们所说的都很好。我要从他们的兄弟中间，给他们兴起一位先知，像你一样；我要把我的话放在他口里，他必把我吩咐他们的一切话都对他们说。

他们又问：“那么你是谁？是以利亚吗？”他说：“我不是。”“是那位先知吗？”他回答：“不是。”

权杖必不离开犹大，王圭必不离他两脚之间，直到细罗﹙“细罗”有古译本作“属他的那位”﹚来到，万族都要臣服他。

妇人说：“先生，我看出你是先知。

以前那位对以色列人说‘神要从你们弟兄中间，给你们兴起一位先知像我’的，就是这摩西。

他们就对那妇人说：“现在我们信，不再是因为你的话，而是因为我们亲自听见了，知道这位真是世人的救主。”

妇人说：“我知道那称为基督的弥赛亚要来；他来了，要把一切都告诉我们。”

摩西曾说：‘你们的主神要从你们弟兄中间，给你们兴起一位先知像我；无论他对你们说什么，你们都应当听从。无论谁不听从那位先知，必定从民中灭绝。’所有从撒母耳起，以及相继兴起来讲话的先知，都曾经宣告这些日子。

他说：“什么事呢？”他们说：“就是拿撒勒人耶稣的事。他是先知，在神和众人面前，说话行事都有大能。

众人都惊惧，颂赞神说：“有伟大的先知在我们中间兴起来了！”又说：“神眷顾他的子民了！”
