Jesus answered,“ Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.

以清水灑爾、使爾為潔、滌爾諸污、除爾所有之偶像、以新心賜爾、以新神賦於爾衷、去爾石心、錫以肉心、以我神賦於爾衷、使爾循我典章、守我律例、而遵行之、

欲使之聖、由水之洗、以道潔之、

彼得曰、爾宜改悔、各以耶穌基督之名受洗、俾罪得赦、且將受聖神之賜焉、

今之洗禮、乃其影像、以救爾曹、非去形軀之污、惟求無虧之良於上帝前、乃因耶穌基督之復起也、

爾中素有如是者、惟以主耶穌基督名、及我上帝之神、已洗滌成聖而見義焉、○

耶穌曰、我誠語汝、人非更生、不能見上帝國也、

夫我洗爾以水、俾爾改悔、但後我來者、尤勝於我、即攜其履、我亦弗堪、彼將洗爾以聖神及火焉、

信而受洗者得救、不信者擬罪、

然我救者上帝慈惠仁愛顯著時、則救我儕、非因我行義之功、乃依其矜恤、以重生之盥濯、與聖神之復新、即上帝由我救者耶穌基督厚注我儕者、俾得以其恩而見義、且依永生之望、成為嗣子、

其生也、非由血氣、非由情欲、非由人意、乃由上帝也、

是以在基督中者、乃為新造之人、舊事已逝、諸事更新矣、萬事本乎上帝、藉基督使我與之復和、且以復和之職授我儕、

蓋我必注水於渴者、濬川於燥土、注我神於爾苗裔、降福祉於爾子孫、彼將滋生於草中、若溪濱之柳、

我誠語汝、若不轉移如孩提、不得入天國也、

主所愛之兄弟、我當為爾恆謝上帝、以其自始選爾得救、聖之以神、真理是信也、緣此、上帝曾以我儕之福音召爾、俾得我主耶穌基督之榮、

我儕所受、非斯世之靈、乃上帝之神、俾我知上帝所樂賜我者、

蓋受割與否皆無足重、惟新造者而已、

爾往招萬民為徒、施之洗、以歸父子聖神之名、

但上帝富有矜恤、以浩大之愛愛我、於我儕因過愆而死時、偕基督而甦我、爾之得救乃由恩耳、且於基督耶穌、使我儕與之同起、亦同坐於天、致緣彼所施我儕之慈惠、彰其厚恩於後世焉、蓋爾以恩得救、由信非由己、乃上帝所賜也、非由乎行、免人自矜、蓋我儕乃上帝之工、受造於基督耶穌中、致行善行、乃上帝所預定、使我儕行之者也、○

爾若知彼為義、則知凡行義者、由之而生也、

蓋上帝之國、不在飲食、惟義與安、及聖神中之樂也、

我告爾、非也、爾弗改悔、皆將如斯而亡、

因致生聖神之律、由基督耶穌、釋我於罪及死之律、

故爾當改悔而轉移、令罪塗抹、俾安舒之日自主而來、

曰當竭力以進窄門、我語汝、將有求進而不得者多也、

依父上帝預知而蒙選、由聖神而成聖、以致順服、灑以耶穌基督之血者、願恩惠平康、益增於爾、○

我告爾、非也、爾弗改悔、皆將如斯而亡、○

我語汝、儻爾之義、無以尚乎士子法利賽人之義、斷不進於天國也、○
