“ I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message.

“我不但为这些人祈求，也为那些因他们的话信我的人祈求，

“我不仅为他们祈求，还为那些因他们的话而信我的人祈求，

「我不但為這些人祈求，也為那些藉着他們的話信我的人祈求，

「我不但為這些人祈求，也為那些藉着他們的話信我的人祈求，

「我不但為這些人祈求，也為那些因他們的話而信我的人祈求，

“我不但為他們求，也為那些因他們的話而信我的人求，

『我不單為這些人求，也為那些因他們的話而信我的人求；

「我不僅為他們祈求，還為那些因他們的話而信我的人祈求，

我不僅為彼祈、亦為因其言而信我者祈、

我不第為此人祈、乃為聽其言而信我者祈、

我不獨為此人祈、兼為聽其言而信我者祈、

予不第為彼等求、亦為耹彼等之言、而置信於予者求焉。

“ My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,

“ I do not pray only for them. I pray also for everyone who will believe in me because of their message.

“ I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word,

“ I pray not only for these, but also for those who believe in me through their word.

“ I am not asking on behalf of these alone, but also for those who believe in Me through their word,

“ I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;

Neither for these only do I pray, but for them also that believe on me through their word;

I pray not only for these, but also for those who believe in Me through their message.

Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

“ I am not praying only on their behalf, but also on behalf of those who believe in me through their testimony,

Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who will believe in me through their word,

Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day— about 3,000 in all.

But many of the people who heard their message believed it, so the number of men who believed now totaled about 5,000.

“ I have revealed you to the ones you gave me from this world. They were always yours. You gave them to me, and they have kept your word.Now they know that everything I have is a gift from you,for I have passed on to them the message you gave me. They accepted it and know that I came from you, and they believe you sent me.“ My prayer is not for the world, but for those you have given me, because they belong to you.All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory.Now I am departing from the world; they are staying in this world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are.

Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.

But now as the prophets foretold and as the eternal God has commanded, this message is made known to all Gentiles everywhere, so that they too might believe and obey him.

Yet I dare not boast about anything except what Christ has done through me, bringing the Gentiles to God by my message and by the way I worked among them.They were convinced by the power of miraculous signs and wonders and by the power of God’s Spirit. In this way, I have fully presented the Good News of Christ from Jerusalem all the way to Illyricum.

I am writing to Timothy, my dear son. May God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord give you grace, mercy, and peace.
