I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn over what is going to happen to me, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will suddenly turn to wonderful joy.It will be like a woman suffering the pains of labor. When her child is born, her anguish gives way to joy because she has brought a new baby into the world.So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy.

Mary was standing outside the tomb crying, and as she wept, she stooped and looked in.She saw two white robed angels, one sitting at the head and the other at the foot of the place where the body of Jesus had been lying.“ Dear woman, why are you crying?” the angels asked her.“ Because they have taken away my Lord,” she replied,“ and I don’t know where they have put him.”She turned to leave and saw someone standing there. It was Jesus, but she didn’t recognize him.“ Dear woman, why are you crying?” Jesus asked her.“ Who are you looking for?” She thought he was the gardener.“ Sir,” she said,“ if you have taken him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will go and get him.”

“ I am leaving you with a gift— peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.Remember what I told you: I am going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really loved me, you would be happy that I am going to the Father, who is greater than I am.
