宜憶吾言、僕不能大乎其主、人既侮予、亦必悔爾；人守吾訓、亦必守爾之訓。

Remember what I told you:‘ A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.

Remember what I told you. I said,‘ A slave is not more important than his master.’( John 13:16) If people hated me and tried to hurt me, they will do the same to you. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.

凡欲宗基督耶穌敬虔度生者、必受窘逐、

我誠語汝、僕不大於主、使者不大於使之者、

徒不踰師、僕不踰主、

惟以色列家、顙堅心頑、必不聽爾、以其不聽我也、

猶太人殺主耶穌及諸先知、又窘逐我儕、不悅於上帝、且敵眾人、

窘逐而不遺、傾仆而不斃、

且服勞躬親操作、見詬則祝、遇窘則忍、

猶太人復取石欲擊之、

蓋希律、本丟彼拉多、及異邦人、與以色列民、果集於此邑、欲攻爾所膏之聖僕耶穌、以行爾手爾旨所預定將成者、今祈主鑒彼眾之威嚇、允爾僕毅然宣爾道、隨時舒爾手施醫、致奇兆異蹟、由爾聖僕耶穌之名而行、

先知中、不為爾祖窘逐者誰乎、且殺預言義者將至之人、此義者爾今賣而殺之矣、爾受由天使而設之律、而不守之、○眾聞之、忿極、向之切齒、司提反充於聖神、注目仰天、見上帝之榮、耶穌立於其右、曰、我見天開、人子立於上帝右、眾大呼、掩耳、同心蜂擁而上、逐之出城、以石擊之、證者置衣於少者掃羅足前、眾擊時、司提反籲曰、主耶穌、納我神也、又跪而大呼曰、主乎、勿以此罪歸之、言畢而寢、掃羅亦悅其死、

猶太人以耶穌於安息日行是、故窘迫之、

我誠語汝、人守我道、永不見死、

祭司諸長、與法利賽人曾出諭曰、若有知其所在者、宜報焉、俾得執之、

眾取石欲擊之、耶穌潛而出殿、

西面祝之、謂其母馬利亞曰、此子之立、致以色列多人興衰、亦為受誹之兆、

法利賽人聞眾議如此、遂與祭司諸長遣役執之、

耶和華諭之曰、凡民所言、爾可從之、彼非棄爾、乃棄我也、不欲我為其王、

徒不踰師、惟成全者將如師也、
