何不以此膏鬻金三十以濟貧乎、

曰、何不售此膏、得金三十、以濟貧乎、

何不售此膏、得三百第拿流約銀三十兩以濟貧乎、

責曰：『何不售此膏、得三百銀錢、以濟貧者乎？』

Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.

Some of those present were saying indignantly to one another,“ Why this waste of perfume?It could have been sold for more than a year’s wages and the money given to the poor.” And they rebuked her harshly.

When Jesus heard this, he said to him,“ You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

When the disciples saw this, they were indignant.“ Why this waste?” they asked.“ This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.”

Philip answered him,“ It would take more than half a year’s wages to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!”

saying,“ When will the New Moon be over that we may sell grain, and the Sabbath be ended that we may market wheat?”— skimping on the measure, boosting the price and cheating with dishonest scales,

“ Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

But require them to make the same number of bricks as before; don’t reduce the quota. They are lazy; that is why they are crying out,‘ Let us go and sacrifice to our God.’

He agreed to pay them a denarius for the day and sent them into his vineyard.

“ Oh, that one of you would shut the temple doors, so that you would not light useless fires on my altar! In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to me, because my name will be great among the nations,” says the Lord Almighty.“ But you profane it by saying,‘ The Lord’s table is defiled,’ and,‘ Its food is contemptible.’And you say,‘ What a burden!’ and you sniff at it contemptuously,” says the Lord Almighty.“ When you bring injured, lame or diseased animals and offer them as sacrifices, should I accept them from your hands?” says the Lord.

Pharaoh said,“ Lazy, that’s what you are— lazy! That is why you keep saying,‘ Let us go and sacrifice to the Lord.’
