And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and[ their] sins should be forgiven them.

Who[ is] blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger[ that] I sent? who[ is] blind as[ he that is] perfect, and blind as the LORD’S servant?Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I[ am] weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.

I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

Return, ye backsliding children,[ and] I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou[ art] the LORD our God.

I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to[ him that is] far off, and to[ him that is] near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.

Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly,[ and] that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.

Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will[ have mercy], and whom he will he hardeneth.

Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:

Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:

And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I[ am] the LORD. And they did so.

Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they[ are] a rebellious house.

And he hardened Pharaoh’s heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded( According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but[ rather] through their fall salvation[ is come] unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

And when Jesus knew[ it], he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?

Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

But he[ was] wounded for our transgressions,[ he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace[ was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

The Spirit of the Lord[ is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.

And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.

And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

For they considered not[ the miracle] of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.

And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:And gave their land[ for] an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.Thy name, O LORD,[ endureth] for ever;[ and] thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.The idols of the heathen[ are] silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there[ any] breath in their mouths.They that make them are like unto them:[ so is] every one that trusteth in them.

And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.

LORD,[ when] thy hand is lifted up, they will not see:[ but] they shall see, and be ashamed for[ their] envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.
