香品攜自示巴、菖蒲得自遠方、獻我曷故。爾之燔祭禮物、我不悅納。

為我自示巴攜乳香、自遠方得至美之菖蒲何為哉、爾之火焚祭、必不見納、爾之他祭品、他祭品或作平安祭我亦不悅、

What do I care about incense from Sheba or sweet calamus from a distant land? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable; your sacrifices do not please me.”

What do I care about incense from the land of Sheba? Why should I bother with sweet- smelling cane from a land far away? I do not accept your burnt offerings. Your sacrifices do not please me.”

What use to me is frankincense that comes from Sheba, or sweet cane from a distant land? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices pleasing to me.

There’s no use offering me sweet frankincense from Sheba. Keep your fragrant calamus imported from distant lands! I will not accept your burnt offerings. Your sacrifices have no pleasing aroma for me.”

I take no delight when they offer up to me frankincense that comes from Sheba or sweet-smelling cane imported from a faraway land. I cannot accept the burnt offerings they bring me. I get no pleasure from the sacrifices they offer to me.’

耶和華說：「你們所獻的眾多祭物，對我有什麼意義呢？公綿羊的燔祭和肥畜的脂油，我已經膩煩了；公牛、羊羔和公山羊的血，我也不喜悅。

祭物和供物不是你所喜悅的，燔祭和贖罪祭不是你所要的；你開通了我的耳朵，

成群的駱駝隊——米甸和以法的獨峰駝隊必遮蓋你的地；他們都從示巴而來，帶著金子和乳香，要傳揚對耶和華的讚美。

「聽啊，我的子民，我要說話！以色列啊，我要告誡你！我是神，是你的神。我不是因你的祭物責備你，你的燔祭一直在我面前。我不從你家裡拿公牛，不從你羊圈裡拿公山羊；因為森林中的百獸是我的，千山上的牲畜也是我的。群山一切的飛鳥，我都認識，田野一切的走獸也都屬我。我就算飢餓，也不用對你說，因為世界和其中所充滿的都是我的。難道我吃壯牛的肉，喝公山羊的血嗎？

你沒有帶給我燔祭用的羊，也沒有用你的祭物來榮耀我！不過我卻沒有讓你因供物有重負，也沒有讓你因乳香而厭倦。你沒有用銀子為我買菖蒲，也沒有用祭物的脂油使我滿足，不過我卻因你的罪惡有重負，因你的罪孽而厭倦。

至於那些宰殺公牛也擊殺人的，祭獻羔羊也打斷狗脖子的，獻上供物也獻上豬血的，燒乳香作記念祭也頌讚偶像的——他們都選擇自己的道路，他們的心喜悅自己那些可憎之事；

當對神說：「你的作為多麼可畏！因你強大的能力，你的仇敵向你卑躬屈膝。

但神對惡人說：「你憑什麼講述我的律例，口中提起我的約呢？實際上，你恨惡管教，把我的話語丟在身後。
