地啊，当听！我必使灾祸临到这百姓，就是他们意念所结的果子；因为他们不听从我的言语，至于我的训诲，他们也厌弃了。

大地啊，聽哦！看吧，我必使災禍臨到這人民，就是他們的意圖所結的果子；因為我的話他們不留心聽；我的指教他們棄絕了。

大地歟、其聽之、我必降災於斯民、為其圖謀之果報、蓋彼不從我言、而棄我律、

我告天下、尚其聽予、斯民不從我言、不遵我法、故我降災、罰其詭謀。

地歟、聽哉、我必降災於斯民、為其私念之報、緣不從我言、違棄我法、

Hear, you earth: I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their schemes, because they have not listened to my words and have rejected my law.

Earth, pay attention. I am going to bring trouble on them. I will punish them because of the evil things they have done. They have not listened to my words. They have said no to my law.

Hear, O earth; behold, I am bringing disaster upon this people, the fruit of their devices, because they have not paid attention to my words; and as for my law, they have rejected it.

Listen, all the earth! I will bring disaster on my people. It is the fruit of their own schemes, because they refuse to listen to me. They have rejected my word.

諸天哪，你們當聽！大地啊，你當傾聽！因為耶和華說：「我養育兒女，帶大了他們，他們卻悖逆了我。

「所定的罪是這樣的：光來到了世界，人們卻因自己的行為邪惡，不喜愛光，反喜愛黑暗。事實上，所有作惡的人，都憎恨光，不來到光那裡，免得自己的行為被揭露出來；但行真理的人，卻來到光那裡，為了顯明自己所做的是在神裡面被做成的。」

所以你應當為這惡事悔改，向主祈求，或許你心中的意念因此被赦免。

耶和華說：「我知道他們的作為和他們的意念。聚集各國和各語言群體的時候將到！萬民都必來看我的榮耀。

既然我呼喚了，你們拒絕，我伸出了手，沒有人留心，你們忽視了我一切的勸告，也沒有接受我的責備；那麼，你們遭難時，我就譏笑；你們的恐懼臨到時，我就嘲笑——那時，恐懼像風暴那樣臨到，災難像旋風那樣來臨，患難和困苦臨到你們身上。那時，他們將呼求我，我卻不回應；他們將切切尋找我，卻找不到。正是因為他們恨惡知識，沒有選擇敬畏耶和華，沒有接受我的勸告，藐視了我一切的責備，所以他們將吃盡自己行為的果實，飽嘗自己計謀的後果。

他們的腳向惡事奔跑，快速地流無辜人的血；他們的意念是邪惡的意念，他們的大道上都是毀壞和破敗；

拒絕我，又不接受我話的人，自有定他罪的：我所講的話語，在末日要定他的罪。

要知道，悖逆如同占卜的罪，頑梗就像拜偶像的惡。你既然厭棄耶和華的話，耶和華也厭棄你作王。」

惡人的意念，為耶和華所憎惡；恩慈的言語，卻是純淨的。

轉耳不聽從律法的，連他的禱告也可憎。

撒母耳對掃羅說：「我不與你一同回去，因為你厭棄了耶和華的話，耶和華也厭棄你作以色列的王。」
