Yet their Redeemer is strong; the Lord Almighty is his name. He will vigorously defend their cause so that he may bring rest to their land, but unrest to those who live in Babylon.

But I am strong and will save them. My name is the Lord Who Rules Over All. I will stand up for them. I will bring peace and rest to their land. But I will bring trouble to those who live in Babylon.

Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is his name. He will surely plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon.

But the one who redeems them is strong. His name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. He will defend them and give them rest again in Israel. But for the people of Babylon there will be no rest!

神啊，求你為我伸冤，向不虔誠的國為我辯護；求你救我脫離詭詐不義的人。

當耶和華使你得享安息，脫離愁苦、煩惱，和被迫做苦工的日子，你必唱這詩歌嘲諷巴比倫王說：「欺壓人的竟然滅亡！他的兇暴竟然止息！耶和華折斷惡人的杖，打斷統治者的權杖；他們在憤怒中連連攻擊萬民，在怒氣中轄制列國，逼迫他們，毫不留情。現在全地得安息，享平靜，人都出聲歡呼。

雅各所得的福分不是這樣，因主是那創造萬有的，以色列是他產業的支派，萬軍之耶和華是他的名。

此後，我聽見好像有一大羣人在天上大聲說：「哈利路亞！救恩、榮耀、權能都屬於我們的神。他的判斷又真實又公義；因他判斷了那大淫婦，她用淫行敗壞了世界。神為他的僕人伸冤，向淫婦討流僕人血的罪。」他們又一次說：「哈利路亞！燒淫婦的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠。」

既然神是公義的，他必以患難報復那加患難給你們的人，也必使你們這受患難的人與我們同得平安。那時，主耶穌同他有權能的天使從天上在火焰中顯現，要報應那些不認識神和不聽從我們的主耶穌福音的人。

諸天哪，應當歌唱，因為耶和華成就這事。地的深處啊，應當歡呼；眾山哪，要出聲歌唱；樹林和其中所有的樹木啊，你們都當歌唱！因為耶和華救贖了雅各，並要因以色列榮耀自己。從你在母腹中就造了你，你的救贖主－耶和華如此說：「我－耶和華創造萬物，獨自鋪張諸天，親自展開大地；

所以你要對以色列人說：『我是耶和華；我要除去埃及人加給你們的勞役，救你們脫離他們的奴役。我要用伸出來的膀臂，藉嚴厲的懲罰救贖你們。
